There is much to see while out ferreting. Athena the ferret quickly flushes a rabbit from Its hole.
This fox was filmed in what used to be a rabbit warren. I need to be careful about fox and badger holes when I’m out ferreting. Sometimes rabbit warrens can be joined to fox earths or badger sets. Fox earth holes tend to be larger than the average rabbit hole and are a vertical oval shape. Badger sets tend to be a larger horizontal oval.

These rabbits are collected for food, for my ferrets and people. This is a free range meat, that has lived a free life. These rabbits will be controlled even without me. By taking them myself, the meat is used. Ferreting is an environmentally friendly method of harvesting free range meat. No rabbit dispatch is shown on camera.

Yeah and I'm sure he is somewhat welcome on that farm as there are no chickens for miles. Although I think he may have had one of those racing pigeons!
