Great video! Having been to Vietnam six times, I would definitely recommend that visitors learn some basic conversational Vietnamese. The locals will love you for even trying to speak their language and your trip will be even more enjoyable, as you will make a lot of Vietnamese friends quickly. I plan to retire to Vietnam next October, and I can speak Vietnamese at an intermediate level with my goal of becoming close to fluent.

I've been to Vietnam, and I don't think everyone there wants money. The people there are very loving and thoughtful. And the person who said that actually thinks highly of Vietnam. I don't think you should fish for negative comments, then use those comments to get views and present them in a way that puts down the entire country and its people. It's not a nice way to make money or grow your channel.
It would be great if you added one question to everyone, especially the younger ones: "how do you afford traveling like this" it may give good ideas to the audience.

Great question. Since most of the people I meet are either traveling for a couple weeks it's understandable they've saved up some money from work n got 2 Weekes or 1 month vacation. Or students finishing high school. Also retirees living on pension. If I meet youn people traveling long term then I'll definitely ask the question 1😊

At this age and time, I can attest that Vietnam is the most auntentic country that no other "evil country like USA" will inflitrate this country. They got affordable foods, real produce like fruits and vegetables, their people are relax. Love from the Philippines. If i get wealthy i will live in Vietnam.

Two people defined the Ha Giang Loop as being with an Easy Rider. That's like saying traveling through the city requires a taxi. Hehe.
The Londoner with the cap is a howl, i would have loved to see the Haggling and banter going on between him and the Vietnamese vendor selling him the polo shirts , hes a real Del boy Character . 😂😅

*ha giang loop* looks like zigzag road in baguio, but a hundred times better btw, the café culture, architecture and partly on báhn mi were perhaps the enduring influence by the french on the vietnamese in the 90s, vietnam became the big spotlight in the world stage because of the british theatrical production called "miss saigon" -- where dozens of filipinos grabbed some major roles "miss saigon" is like how you hit the 100K so, big congratulations! 👏 there's more to come ...

Philippines has plenty of roads like that and even higher in elevation than Ha Giang Loop, but they're either undiscovered by tourists or not safe to drive on

That statement about "everybody wants money" in Vietnam is absolutely false. This channel is using that statement to get views. He is all about money as well, isn't he, as he is using that statement to generalize and put down a whole country.
The difference? The city of Chicago will change four seasons to warm springs, hot summers, fall dark weather then to very freezing cold temperatures 🥶. The country of Vietnam is hot🔥tropical beaches paradise weather. My great information for today. Have a great fabulous wonderful day.

I have to go to Vietnam. The Vietnamese girls in the US have been super friendly since 1975. Chinese tourist girls are super friendly also but when I went to Beijing, I was invisible. Need to satisfy my curiosity.
