Long or short, I just enjoy watching you work as you give the KZread community a glimpse into your life as a mechanic, shop owner, husband and father. Whether it's a 2 minute "would you look at this" or a 2 hour 2 part battle through cobbled up, rust and neglect, I for one will always click to see what Wes has been up to.

Lots of people like to watch the repair "What is in there?" and not be covered in grease and dirt at the end.

You have to make sure Wes, that you Family and Clients come first. It's awesome that you're able to give the time and content to watch. But we don't put food on the table or keep the roof over your head, whatever adjustments you need to make to ensure that all is well, then we'll have to adjust too. Keep safe and sane 👍

I’m watching any content you put out Wes. No matter how long or polished.

Just for reference, I'm perfectly happy with the long format as well as the short. I watch them all.

I know the editing takes a long time, but I really like the extended repair jobs. Maybe you could compromise and limit the editing and give us some partial raw footage. Either way, love your videos and knowledge!!

You say about the length of a video but on modern cars taking out simple things can take just as long as one of your videos I enjoy your content so please don’t shorten it too much thank you Wes

Wes, you could make 10 hour long videos, and I would watch them. It's the minute long quickies that don't satisfy. All hail the algorithm.

I’m sure many of us would just enjoy raw footage on some of the longer videos to save you from editing so much. Regardless I really enjoy, and learn a lot being a young tech, the exposure to your knowledge is priceless.

Wes, I like any kind of video you make. The important thing is what you do, not the length of the post. You take in whatever comes to your door-tractors, military heavy vehicles, riding lawnmowers, new and old trucks and, oh yeah, cars. I think you are what America needs, a solid work ethic and an open door. Keep it up!!!!

I learn something new every time I watch - you teach, and good teachers impart knowledge in 40 seconds or 40 hours, it doesn't matter. Teaching is a gift, and you have it. Completely understandable with videos - balance it out. Had a 2009 Escape V6 I purchased for a few hundred bucks back in May. Clean southern vehicle. Engine spun a bearing. Replaced engine successfully (fun!) and decided to flush the fluids I hadn't touched. After finishing bleeding the brakes, I went for a test drive and found the brake pedal goes to the FLOOR. Activated a service bleed, still on the floor. Did a regular bleed, still going to the floor. Then my research on Google led me to thousands of posts about people's brake pedal going to the floor. Going onto Ford Service info and a KZread video I learned about the ABS Modulator Valve assembly having 1 or more valves stick inside causing the fluid to circulate inside the modulator. I also learned the ABS Control Module can have solider joint failures internally which will cause com errors. Using my Autel Maxisys, I started using the bidirectional controls to test inlet/outlet valves and motors. After visiting 3 U Pull It yards, and piecing together a Control Module and a Modulator valve that both worked and were compatible with a 2009 (which meant lots of testing with the Autel), regular bleed, service bleed then regular bleed, I had a like new brake pedal. 2006-12 Fusions and 09-12 Escapes both suffer from the same issue, yet only the Fusions were recalled...

I hope some long form videos still show up now and then but understand why they can’t for every video. Today I was just happy to see a new video!

And last but not least, when your son says. "Dad, Mom needs you," the video stops, goes black, and in a few seconds you are back in the saddle again after helping your beautiful assistant. I like long form videos posted Saturday/sunday morning unless it just makes it too hard for you to make money. I watch your videos before I even get out of bed. I like the educational aspect I don't watch much mechanical stuff for quick glimpse entertainment

Unlike other KZreadrs that just do the work and don't explain what and how things are done, you do take the time to explain. I really appreciate and prefer this about you. I'm glad you took my advice several years ago when you had a bunch of comments about being silent and you tried a few of those. I told you just be yourself and used Pareto law to demonstrate my point. As you can see most of your comments from your most dedicated followers are just because of you. After watching one of the silent channels replacing camel hump springs lets just say I haven't gone back. I just want to thank-you for the great content you have been putting out.

I greatly appreciate your time and efforts expended on publishing any and all of your videos. Bonus "double header " on braking electrical this morning, 9 minutes after your upload, SMA's Eric O published a video on Honda electric e-brake harness. I prefer a 15 to 20 minute video. I have a variety of favorites and if the videos are too long, I can't watch the others. You are one of the few I watch that goes longer. I always find your humor entertaining and your videos informative. Thanks for what you do!

I enjoy the longer videos because you have more time to explain and sort things in front of us. Maybe throw just one longer video in a month instead of every video? Either or, I enjoy the videos and will adapt to the change.
