assing cars up one at a time Foose Design nobody does it better
Nobody destroys as many classic cars as Foose. I’d never let that clown anywhere near a classic car.
So much easier to watch than other resto shows where they introduce fake drama and stupid backstories. Foose is all about the Craftsmanship, the Art, the Car and the Customer
This man is a God,his work is out of this world
What a talented artist! Get a chip foose car now because in 20 years they will be unattainable
Chip is better at doing than talking. I like that.
Google the "Buckshot Corvette". My grandfather was the engine builder for that car. It was a 61 though. Landed him in the NHRA hall of fame and he and the driver won the 68 NHRA championships with that car. I hope you do something amazing with it Chip!
I like that it is just about the cars, no added drama, just the guys doing what they do best.
If you're going to chop up arguably the best Corvette design ever. You best be able to make it orders of magnitude better. Enter Chip Foose, American icon, and builder designer of EIGHT Riddler award wining cars. Chip has contributed to many iconic cars from Elenor and Wounded Warrior Project to the Boydster.
Much better than watching Overhaulin’. Actual hands on without all the drama. Not that Overhaulin’ is bad, but this is way better. Thank you Mr. Foose for the great builds and videos.
you got to love his hands on approach to all his builds, doesn't just point gets in there and does it.

I’ve always respected that about him.
My little brother would like this overhaul on his 1962 Vette.... But now I have a 67 Chevelle that could use a bit of Foose Magic...Great stuff with the Wizzard Chip ...Insane cool subtle changes to a car design is his motto...I wish the crews were still showing their stuff on tv...Best wishes to the best Car Guy...great video!
I think the reason why I like Chip the most compared to other car builder's is he gets his hands dirty. Thanks for sharing

And most of what he does is unlike any other customizer in the industry, He aways has a different way of doing things has an artists touch in some way...

@@shaunmostert1585 Yes he never rubber stamps his builds, each has it's own unique vision coming from what the owner wants to how Chip comes up with feeling of the build.

@@jimwhitman5805 He almost always shaves the bumpers, bringing them into the body, making them part of the design, not just a bumper.

his style I so subtle almost imperceptible... that when you see the car you know what it is...but you can tell it’s unique and different but you don’t know how to describe it.

There's nothing like watching a Master Craftsman at work with his highly skilled crew. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Hats off Chip, you set a great example, with an obvious balance between creativity and hands-on that is rare nowadays 👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼
My dream would have Chip do a vehicle for me..it's just a dream. I could never afford it. That man can turn anything into treasure
What a super builder & fabricator & nice guy. He was in Milwaukee and was super nice to talk to my boys even though he was busy😎👍
I like that Chip isn’t one of those guys like Boyd Coddington that just tells his guys what he wants,Chip gets right in there and gets his hands dirty and works with them.
My favorite year corvette made even better !!
Chip looks like a guy who had too much coffee and not enough sleep, but if I had that much brilliance I'd probably explode. The guy is a genuine Overhaulin' legend.
Ideas and dedications, strong words to Foose
This is the great thing about Chip...he ain't much of a stool pusher...he gets his hands dirty with a project.
A known design genius of our times, and still doesn't mind the itch of sanded fiberglass on his arms. Always know you are never above any job. Can't wait to see the rest of this build. Sir Chip, please keep posting more of this style, people need to remember it not easy...
talent and humility some leaders of countries could use a lesson from him
Recently subscribed.. I’m still drooling over the E Type Jaguar
Wish the new Vette had this old Classic design. This was the Golden Age of Corvettes.
Most of the car took 243 fabrication hours; the head lamps, 1,112 hours. Now that’s serious perfectionism.
Another work of art in the making.....
Once again, the man emerges... your attention to detail is second to none.
When Chip builds you a car the question is never how much, or when, it's just thank you for a beautiful piece of art

Absolutley correct! Hail to the most royal of majesties, the grandest of grand poobahs, Long live Chip Foose. Its how cars are done.
It was such an honor meeting Chip, I hope to meet him again someday!
That lift had a hell of an exhaust note
As the owner of a ‘62 this is painful but fascinating!!!!
One of my favorite Corvette's, can't wait to see what this exceptionally talented artist can do with this generation car. Chip has on of the best eyes for design I've ever witnessed. Will be following this build with enthusiasm and excitement.
Chip Foose is an automotive national treasure.
Of all the youtube builders Chip is the best; that's because he isn't a youtube builder, he's a professional/an artist. Props to you Chip and the guys, hats off.

Met him once at a Christmas toy drive some years ago. A top notch man for sure. Love his work.
As I watch this video, I'm taken back to my early childhood! My Godfather (R.I.P Bobby), had a 61 vette, and when I was little, like 6 years old, my Dad (R.I.P. Dad) helped him put a 1968 Z28 327/ muncie 4 speed into that car. This is where I come from, this is my heritage, this is who I am! I am a son of a builder, a man that made things work! I was under the car when I was in diapers, and pretty much never left! My parents were both employees of Scheilper's Speed shop back in the early 1960's. Mom did the books for John, and Dad built the engines! Today, it;s called "Pro Power Motor Sports"! If you look around, you will see my Dad in every racing sport there is! Mom too! Mom put John on the straight and narrow with the business, showed him what to do, and he went off to be huge! Today, I am a diesel mechanic for the US military, Still, I remember how I was under the car with Dad, and still I cherish those moments as he taught me what it meant to be a mechanic! We spent hours taking apart starters, trying to save them by cleaning out the commutator, sanding brushes,,,,,,, Why? Because I was the oldest of 6, and this was the best he could do! Chip? Keep doing your work, because first of all for you, it's a passion! Second of all, because there are guys like me that would die for the chance, and will never get it! You bring out our visions! Even if we can't see them just yet!
You folks don’t forget Chip builds hot rods. Anything goes. Simple.
You gotta love that Chip loves to do the work, who could possibly know more about what the finished design should look like, he always knocks it out of the park.
Being a poor person I will never be able to have a person like Chip ever built a car for me but I totally admire his ability to design and build some of the most beautiful automobiles i have ever seen, i had a 66 impala SS 327, i wish I had never sold it. Chip never stop building them
Great video. Chip Foose is one to his own and we can see here why he's been so successful. He genuinely lives and works and breathes his passion for cars & car design. Loved the little comments as to understanding why designers in the 1960s did things a certain way. Decades later he still understands the constraints they worked within and respected their compromises. I guess you could say Foose Design eliminates those compromises the designers & manufacturing process must face.
I am certain this Corvette will look fantastic. I not so sure it will look better than the original design. I mean, there is a reason why the car is a classic.
Some people have the vision, some people have the skills, some people have the taste, but very few have all of these, you do Chip, everything you do is pure art, verging on pornography.
Hello Chip greetings from Texas! Chip I love your creativity on your builds, love it, whatever you draw that car comes to life just like the drawing.
Pete Brock said it best, Chip is the best independent automotive designer in the US.
Being a body man myself. Excellent craftsmanship! These guys give you what your paying for! Beautiful job
Mr Foose, you and your team are amazing. Like watching a patient getting plastic surgery only so much better (retired nurse, sorry).

It needs a boob job...lol
Chip Foose certainly has te technical know-how when it comes to cars. I'm guessing there isn't much he can't do. However, he really excels in his artistry. What he can envisage and produce is , every sense, a piece of art where function and beauty combine.
Chip is a genius!
Not sure how you can be a maniac and a genius at the same time Foose, I would never thought about putting the bumpers in the press like that, but VIOLA.
As a car designer it's fun the see Chip get dirty working on the cars instead of sitting in the office and giving orders.
just the into on the design changes was fantastic
I love the comments on sanding in a paint booth. I worked on Corvettes for many years and did most grinding and sanding on fiberglass in the booth. Fiberglass particulates are nasty and the air flow kept skin irritation and lung irritation to minimum. Regarding keeping a booth clean for a perfect paint job - The booth was always thoroughly cleaned after the glass work was done. I’m sure they spend plenty of time cleaning the booth considering Chip is one of the best car builders in the business. Put some thought into comments
Always wanted a car built from foose
One of the best builders and designers out there.
As someone said, he's a real artist. It's all in the detail and his hands on approach. Mind you, that's to take nothing away from the skill and dedication of his. Great channel, thanks.
My 92 chevy van.beauville needs you
This is professionalism at its best! I've never seen that much perfectionism!
After the e type chip did the vette should be just as amazing if not better! A one of a kind legend !
Artist at work
I like how Foose makes his custom visions come to life
What a beautiful machine!!
If I could afford it, I would buy a brand new C8 Corvette and have it delivered to Chip's garage and tell Chip to design it like what he thinks a new C8 should look, and run like. It would be a masterpiece!
Cant wait for the finished product
Awesome
Wow man your work is next level.
Haven't geeked out too much when running across celebs or famous people, but I gotta say the day I met Chip was memorable. Every bit as awesome and kind as he comes across on the screen. What an honor! Thanks for the content to everyone at Foose Design!

I feel the same way about the first time I met Chip Foose. You nailed it in your comment Uriel Landeros. He also remembered my name the next time I saw him. He is my all time favorite car guy and artist!
Chip is an amazing artist
I love watching you create a masterpiece.
It's amazing what throwing tons of money at a car can accomplish.

Owning a Foose car is on my bucket list.
Love the big Ford emblem right behind the Corvette in the beginning!!!
Always a thrill, thanks Chip.
Chip can make a piece of rebar look good. 😎
That’s an incredible amount of work and it’s all done with attention to detail.
I’m so happy to be seeing this build, can’t wait to see it done. Excited..........
Soo stoked on this series ! Love it
Looks amazing, can’t wait to see the finished product.
Once again, Chip and crew, you've made my day. Love this stuff!
Wow! Just wow!! Can't wait to see the finished project!
Thank you for competent fiberglass work
mazing to see Chip work. I am sheet metal worker by trade, and do lots off stuff. But I dont think I can even come close to his talents. And not to forget the people that work for him.
Again what a nice build!
Amazing work Chip!
Outstanding progress.
Wow, the subtle touches.. Looks soooo good!
Cool awesome to see it finished 👍🏾👍🏾
Wow, Chip, that 'Vette's going to look amazing!
Congratulations Foose !!
Can't wait to see the final product
Great work!
I love to watch you work Chip. I'm a hairdresser and like you I create styles and flow with the lines rather than fashion and speed. You inspire me quite a bit and again, like you, I have a thing for bikes, though mine are bmx, a mountain bike cum cruiser bmx and a Sinclair C5 and I'm a gal so keep up the good work. xxx
It will be a beauty
Thanks for making this great video. My favorite Corvette years are 1953-1955.
Bonjour Mr Foose cela fait un moment que je suis votre travaille vous êtes un magicien de l'auto vous me faite rêver avec toute ces belle voitures grand respect pour votre art Merci je vous souhaite bonne continuation.
outstanding!!!
7.40 secs. "Chip! We just cannot get these quarter bumpers to fit."...... (Chip)"if you want a job doing, do it yourself!" 😨😨 Actions speak louder than words!
Amazing work! Great video!
Uau, parabéns. Adoro assistir suas transformações de carros.
