This is one of the greatest vocalizations I have ever heard. I listen to the sound, the instrumentation surrounding these crazy, incredible vocalizations, and how her voice flows and cycles like a million eddies of an ocean, with splashes and waves, small waves, waves that grow and break, and drive, and her matching expressions and swaying; the band blends into her sound and motion. It is just so perfect. This is not just a song, it is an accomplishment. A work of art. It really is great.

I really love it everyone in the group just does their thing to perfection, not too much, not too little....just masterfully. This is not an easy thing to do, that is why a good mixer is so important. When everyone is on a different level, they can just go live and acoustic, then give you something wonderful like these fine folks just did in this video. Great job, all of you.

I found this video by a mistake 4-5 years ago. I was looking for the original and accidentally hit this vid. For about 5 seconds I regretted it, then I heard the slide guitar and then her voice. I was hooked.

I always love watching Ron groove out during the song and wish I could take his place. The energy in the room would be absolute magic with that voice and Doug with his excellent guitar work.

I think she did originally with Epic (Sony Music). I heard her speak of it in a clip of her singing. She’s independent now. She didn’t really say why, but I think it has something to do with keeping the rights to her soul.
