I agree on all counts! I am thinking that Gumbo is a preview of the 4 new albums, a taste of what is to come, but am not 100% sure. I had no idea he could draw as well--he truly is multi-talented!

The keyboards in the original (Elvin Bishop) were a BIG part of this song .... Michael should try this again -- with a band.

Good solid voice (occasionally pitch-challenged on the melody) . He picks good classic soul songs suited to his voice. Solid rhythm style on guitar, too.

Great voice. I also sing and play this song, which is in the key of F, you're playing it in D, cool. I've always loved the song and I gotta admit you have a great bluesy voice and I love that guitar, is that a Gibson?
