Dave Grohl does not use drugs and as far as the rest of the band I'm not sure. Not every rock band uses drugs, you're stereotyping and shouldn't assume they all do. If anything I think Taylors son will learn from his dad's fatal mistake/accident. I'm pretty sure Taylor didn't wake up that morning and think, I'm going to get so high today I'm going to kill myself. Not saying it's right to do drugs but overdoses happen everyday, everywhere. I guess Taylor pushed it too far but you can't beat someone up when they're already gone. We'll never know what Taylor was thinking that day. RIP Taylor.

I thought I was being ridiculous by not being able to bring myself to listen to them. I tried last week and couldn't do it. They were my go to playlist at work everyday for years, and I've been missing em. It will never be the same without Taylor, but this was a damn good tribute....

Insane drummer. I love the stuff he did on the first evanescence album and the good Charlotte album - guilty pleasures. He’s unreal

I broke my heart at so many times last night the love in that stadium was unreal. I feel privileged to have been there. We sung our hearts out for Taylor and cried for them all.⭐️💛🙏🏻

Exactly how I feel, PJ. Blessed to have been there, the love and support the crowd gave to Dave, the family and the band was unreal. I'm emotionally drained after being there.

i saw them last yr here in nyc of c with Taylor for the first post pandemic concert and we cried too altho for different reasons. As hard as FF rock theres also something very spiritual about them in concert.

“I don’t know the f’n words but I’ll sing it anyways.” I think of this every time now.

So glad they went right into All My Life. The band needed this kind of jam session therapy ..

The organ on "Times Like These" is so chilling ❤️

I haven’t seen a crowd this passionate in ages! They were all one love and surprisingly not EVERYONE had their phones out. They kicked it old school rock and roll. 🖤

“I’m a little divided….” Man, that was a genuinely special moment. “Go, Dave”. Yes. That was some love and support - and it is so great to see. The crowd was awesome. I wish I could’ve been there. Thank you.

There's a video breaking down that moment, apparently that was the part of the song where Taylor took over when Dave was losing his voice. Taylor jumped in and, being Taylor, sang, "I don't know the f*cking words, but I'm singing anyway" so when Dave sang the actual lyrics and had that moment of remembering Taylor, he obviously broke. He is so much stronger than people might give him credit for because he took a few seconds, dried his tears, and pushed through it for his best friend and brother. I think this may be the last time we see the Foo Fighters for a long while because Dave still needs more time to heal, especially after just losing his mom a few months after losing Taylor.

@@ColdSlayer300 Yes. I saw that. And, yes I imagine that might have been on Dave’s mind. I also think the lyrics might have hit close to his own reality. Being divided about how to react and whether to continue on, or “run away - and leave it all behind” is only natural. And very real. We will see The Foo Fighters again; at least one more time. I imagine the LA show in a few weeks will be the last time we see them for a long while. I think you’re right about needing more time. Not just Dave, either. Thank you. ☮️

After all he’s been through in his life to have to stand up there AGAIN and play THIS song AGAIN. I can’t imagine what’s going through his head during this. Probably all that and more. RIP Taylor and Kurt. “It’s times like these, time and time again.”

@@flor9389 it’s crazy how tough life can get but we still manage to move on. Most do anyway but some just can’t and they leave too early. Pat Smear has the same curse if you want to call it that. But his started even before Dave’s. They’ve both had enough of this type of heartbreak at least.

@@81ghale In the span of a few months, Dave lost his best friend and his mother. And he still managed to stand in a packed Wembley and play for over six hours. If he can do *that*, we can do anything.

Man, seeing Dave break down still makes me cry every time. 💔 My god do I ever miss Taylor.

That broke my heart for Dave. Big ups to him for showing his emotions, his live for his best mate. But, fuckkit, isn't rock n roll just the best medicine to express how you're feeling? Best rock group ever IMHO.

It’s so sad to see Dave cry he is a Broken man he love Taylor just like a Brother the pain is raw but Taylor with you Dave he won’t let you do this alone he is all around you the Foo brothers will get through this with the love they have for one another so be strong you have another concert go the FooFighter ❤️

So poignant. The loss so keenly felt. Dave broke down at the point that Taylor once took over when Dave's voice gave out. The memories are so overwhelming. I can't imagine the strength it took to get through that . We miss you Taylor!!

Man I've gone back and forth and I close my eyes and listen between Josh and Rufus, and Josh just sounded so right. They will know the right fit when that time comes. They need to all grieve still.

Josh Freese was totally the right choice. He always nails it.

Josh Freese is one of the greats. Up there with Danny Carey and Tim the HERB Alexander and of course Neil Peart.

Utterly heartbreaking. I was crying my fucking eyes out and screaming at Dave…you can fucking do this!

The chills I got from Taylor, Dave, and everyone just from all the the KZread videos, I can only imagine what it would’ve been like in person.

I tried like hell to get tickets to either venue, but would’ve been a giant mess, had I actually gone. The couch, with a full box of tissue was probably providence.

It was the most incredible musical experience, bittersweet, but a beautiful send off to the great man. No egos on the stage, just pure genuine love for Taylor. I feel incredibly lucky to have got a ticket.

I cried so hard watching this. Dave showed so much emotion i couldn't take it

Josh would fit the band perfectly and he adds also something. Very powerfull this combination

You can feel EVERY word, lyric, emotion..

I was not sure what to expect but knew that all these great musicians were going to do their very damn best to come together and celebrate a life full of kindness, love and happiness in which was so infectious he just makes me smile every time I think of him. You know to have so many amazing people come together to celebrate an amazing life, to be together to have us love, laugh, cry, sing and smile

The love between Dave & Taylor can be felt in Dave's voice while singing this song... God Bless Taylor, rest easy my friend, you left a lasting legacy... And to Dave and the guys, LONG LIVE TAYLOR & THE FOO's... ❤️🤘❤️🤘❤️🤘❤️

Watched this live 4 a.m. HK time and it was surreal. The transition during from Taylor's video montage to the Queen set with multiple drummers was so smooth.

Little did we know... You can never replace Taylor, but this is a good fit moving forward.

There was. MTV took it down not even 12 hours after the concert. I was 3 hours in and didn't even get to finish it. Found out this morning because they're going to air it on Paramount+. I'm trying to not be angry about it, but it just felt like this amazing tribute concert was monetized.

@@fluxifyme They aired simultaneously on Paramount+ and on here yesterday. They raised money for charity on here. They also showed an hour of the show on CBS last night.

I know Josh has played in a million bands, but he'd be a great fit to take over for Taylor. Very similar vibe to the rest of the band.
