AURORA is an artist for artists. Her talent is at the very top of the pile. Musically she is a genius.

A powerful and meaningful song on a par with all of Aurora's songs. She is a master at the use of metaphors! Fortunately, there are songwriters who stay far away from the mainstream circus. Aurora does not care about writing hits to make money, her primary job is to send out important messages

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and producer who plays The piano, harp, percussion and Kalimba. She released her first album in 2016 and has released 33, i think, original songs and many covers. She is the recipient of 2 Spellman awards "Norwegian Grammy" .

AURORA has a lot to say for such a young artist! She is wise beyond years and much of her music has encouraged others to have a voice on topics of the environment, violence, mental health, social equality and corporate corruption! You should give her another listen, you will not find another artist who writes original content, maintains her personal integrity and empathetically cares about people!

The ‘belong in a church yard’ is a death threat reference as that’s where the dead are typically buried in some countries.

Among artists and in the music industry the Norwegian singer AURORA is synonymous with quality, and she can fill a record with masterpieces time and time again. Many others are glad they manage one. Billie Eilish said in an interview that it was AURORA that made her become an artist and we were inspired to listen to her.

You should react to more Aurora, she’s amazing and one of a kind. She’s like in her own genre, some songs sound pop, some folk, some experimental, some rock sounding even. Maybe start with The Seed or Runaway.

You, sir, just saw a lady from Norway that makes some music. She is an interesting character. And she is not for all. Her fans (calling themselves "weirdoes") are perfectly fine with her not topping any hit-lists. It is like a motorcycle club - it is perfectly fine that most do not want to join. I want to add a thing. She does have a "vibe" - but that is eclectic. I could try to convince you to listen to "through the eyes of a child" - live VEVO. I could ask you to listen to "5 4 3 2 1 Murder Song". I could ask you to listen to "Exist for love". I could ask you to listen to her angry ("It happened quiet") or going full-on dance club with "The Seed" (without reacting online) Fact is that this woman is very eclectic and even frustrating at times. She is certainly not for everyone. But for those that get her - she is making adult rockers cry brave tears. She is also making kids tear up as she sings in the frost movies. I know - she is weird. I grew up listening to metal rap and electronic. My genres have branched out endlessly, but she is absolutely one of a kind and I love her. Someone once used the word enchanting and I can't think of a better word. This song has a place where no other song sits. I don't know where that place is, but it stands alone.

everything about AuRoRa is beautiful. i felt kinda the same my first time, now she tops my heart chart. all her music is different which is why she is many genres. im subbing hoping for more. id suggest anything at Nido, especially It Happened Quiet. Aurora is an amazing artist, and I haven't heard a single song by her that I didn't like, and I don't normally enjoy this type of music. Another thing is that she almost never plays the same song the same way in two different live performances.

fans sometimes forget that other people hears this for the first time so it was a bit "strange" song to put as first request to someone not familiar with Aurora at all, hope u will check out more, she is worth the journey =)

I'm a Hardcore Metal Head....Slayer, Priest, Maiden.....and I LOVE AURORA.... Just found her about 3 months ago, and I watch at least two of her video songs a day....(every day).....

The great thing about Aurora, is that virtually all her songs are unique, style-wise. Even if you feel a little "wait, whaaa....?" at this, there are so many other songs that you can check out, and it's more or less impossible that you don't stumble onto something that is closer to your tastes.

I think it’s nice that you’re not quite swept away after listening to Aurora’s music for the first time! That is - if you are willing to give her a second chance and listen to some of her other songs before definitely decide whether she’s your cup of tea or not. As others have suggested, Runaway or the stripped version of Through The Eyes of A Child might be a better place to begin the Autora journey! I hope you give it a try! Oh..BTW Aurora use her voice like an instrument in addition to just singing, I believe the «strange noise» you heard in the end of the song was her doing that. (Sorry for my Norwenglish. My English is a little rusty)

i would go with Runaway or the seed, original music videos or perhaps through the eyes of a child-vevo stripped version =)

Aurora will surely be on your top list if you take a journey thru her world of songs. In my opinion you should continue with 54321 Murder song, The Seed and The River for a warmup, and then continue with the concert at Nidarosdomen. Have a nice journey!

Hello! Welcome to our family. You make a good effort here even if the person who gave the suggestion was not kind 😉 churchyard is a fantastic song but you should have got a "easier" song. Churchyard is in my ears not a good starter. Songs like through the eyes of a child vevo version or the Runaway Nobel peace prize or any of her all covers are great to start with to get used to all her skills. Really hope you continue to dig into her song treasure

AURORA is in my opinion the best female vocalist and songwriter currently on the music scene! A totally unique major talent! Please react to more of her songs: her iconic environmental anthem "The Seed;" "All is Soft Inside" (from the KEXP concert). "Soulless Creatures" (performed in 2020 with the Bergen Philharmonic); "Infections of a Different Kind (performed in a forest at the 2019 HAIK concert); "It Happened Quiet" and "Little Boy in the Grass" (from the Nidarosdomen concert); and some people commenting here will suggest others! Just re-watched this reaction of yours again.....(I said, I watch Aurora numerous times per day)...... I really like your reaction. It was pretty much how I felt when I first saw her.... Where you literally laugh....because you're genuinely delighted that something this amazing actually exists and you'd never heard it...but now you're hearing it. I _definitely_ remember that moment for me with Aurora. It was the first thing I ever saw/heard of her...Nidarosdomen live. I saw that on March 15 2020 and one hour later....my jaw was on the floor and I felt more inspired and emotionally elevated than I had in months if not years....I was buzzing on her entire sound and vibe. Aurora is from Norway-Bergen It’s not the easiest song to start your Aurora journey;) She’s done some covers that are amazing: Beatles -across the universe Massiv attack -Tear drop Ariana Grande - God is a woman Auroras songs: Runaway, through the eyes of the child, Running with the wolves, the seed, daydreamer. This concert is performed at the KXPE radio station in Iceland. Not 100% sure, but it’s sounds like she sing from her first meeting with music producer that said that her music belonged in the churchyard, and she would reach anyone with her music.

What is happening is you are being introduced to the most unique vocalist on the planet. She is singing a cover, but her originals are insanely good. Consider listening to a couple others: Through the Eyes of a Child (definitely the stripped version of that song) and The Seed, the official version. (Usually it's best to listen to her live, but not on this song).

I am NOT saying it is not great, but there are more out there that are insainly good, this is "only" very good. Check out Aurora in Nidarosdomen Cathedral. Another wonderful consert are the "Haik" consert (out in the woods!)... (Haik = hitchhike).

Yeah, I get it - the first time we see something awesome it takes our brain a while to really process it. When a child first sees fireworks they are confused, maybe a little frightened until they finally process the incredible rush and beauty of the experience. Although I like many of Auroras songs, I think it was refreshing to see a reactor saying his honest opinion . I find it weird with all these reaction videos where they always love every video they react to, no matter what genre it is. (But I still think you should give her a second chanse:)

Aurora has no genre. She can perform and rock your world and be as gentle as a sunflower. I can't send you the links but search Aurora on the Jimmy Fallon show and listen to the Conqueror and then just listen to her songs all different

I love Aurora, but I don’t like this song to much. I hope you will check out some of her other songs - maybe «the Seed» (official music video) or «it happened quiet» (live at the Current)?🙏🏻
