I stumbled on your channel. I was sad for a minute because I forgot all about Chiffon cake. My Aunt Lillie was the only person I ever knew that could make a beautiful, angel chiffon cake.I haven't had this cake in over 30 years. You did a wonderful job. The strawberries look so delicious. My aunt would make lemon flan with only egg yolks, and so with the excess egg whites would make lemon Angel chiffon cake. Those days are some of my fam’s faves. All very happy tummies.

Looks amazingly delicious! Whenever I’m in Japan, I always make sure to eat as much strawberry chiffon cake as I can! I loved Fujiya when they were in business back in the day. Visiting Peco Chan dressed in her different costumes was fun.

just made this cake and it turned out great! the sponge is so soft and springy! definitely not too sweet and my family loved it! When making the strawberry jam, though, i would turn the heat all the way down and allow it to cool through slowly as my first batch did burn fairly quickly on medium heat. thank you!! :))

I loved it, it was so fresh, light and airy. Perfect for summer. I changed the whipped cream from using granulated sugar to powdered sugar. I wasn't sure if it would be grainy so I didn't try it. And I made the jam with frozen strawberries cuz that's what I had.

I'm so glad!! Granulated sugar melts in the whipped cream, so it won't be grainy but powdered sugar is a great choice too! Thank you for sharing it.

Thanks for your fantastic and informative video recipes. It's great how you include tips and explanations. Also you are a spatula star!! It's an amazing tool for baking and you show this well. Hello, is there anything in the cake flour that makes it rise? I’ve noticed that there are neither baking powder not baking soda in your recipe. I live in Germany where we don’t have cake flour, so would I have to add anything to make it rise or does it just rose by itself? Great video, cake looks amazing and I’d love to try!

Yes, I agree! It really helps to understand by visually seeing it instead of just ‘saying’ it! A lot of channels don’t do that. I actually find this channel a lot easier to follow the recipes, and she has such a calming voice too 🙂😊
