It completely changed the look of your front yard already! Love the way you present your narrative too!

You did a fantastic job, You made the space between the trees look more like a future flower garden island. Really nice !!!!!

Looks great but how do you keep the grass from growing into the bed?

I’ll occasionally get a runner going that direction so I just redirect it, but mostly with weed eater edging it all stays where it’s supposed to. I have St. Augustine grass which is not invasive unlike Bermuda.

Looks great. Curious if you have had much trouble with keeping grass out of the mulch since you didn’t dig any kind of edge around it.

That looks good and that lemon sedom you have will spread real quick and make like a ground cover! But I really like what y’all did!

Looks great 👍 how many inches deep did you soil?
@planttodaywithamyrae

It’s about 4 inches deep in the middle. I do have to dig into the ground for larger plants 😊

How often do you need to replace the cardboard?

I won’t ever replace it. The grass is dead now underneath and so I just re-mulch seasonally. The occasional weed will pop up and I just hand pull but you could also use preen as a preventative.
