This week is a little bit of a catch all! I'm reviewing what I've done so far, sharing what I'm planning for right now (spoiler: kitchen and bathroom) and talking a bit more about how I'm bringing in contractors and why. This is a BIG project and the math is tight, so I'm trying to balance the budget with the timeline with the final outcome. There are lots of things I can do all on my own that don't require me to write a check to anyone. But there are also a few things I can't do or I can't do nearly as well as the pros so it makes sense to bring them in. Talking all about this process in detail AND sharing a bit of demo in the primary bedroom in preparation for my contractor.
To recap, I'm sharing all of this in REAL time so this is what I'm doing every day after I drop my kids off at school... some weeks I have a before/ after project and other weeks it's a bit more scattered. I still have to build a patio, add a bit more curb appeal, demo the bathroom, demo the kitchen, add trim back in and paint radiator covers and then obviously prep for paint! Phew!!
