Reactions like this need a big Daddy-type hug. To have a heart and be unafraid to show it is something to be proud of. If only more people could be like you.
My late Papa used to sing Landslide to my sister, and I almost every night while he was putting us to bed. He was a single dad back in the late 70's and through the 80's . He requested it as his last song while he was being lowered into his tomb. I love you and miss you infintly Papa. Today makes 11 years.
She’s probably the most beloved female singer. She’s a true superstar that’s truly loved .
Nobody should ever attempt to cover Stevie's stuff, she's to unique, a true national treasure
She wrote this song at a time when she was struggling as a waitress and was thinking of giving up music and Lindsay Buckingham. A few month later they joined forces and joined Fleetwood Mac.

@@DaniAtkinson I find that as we age, words in songs that you may have heard forever reveal truths that were once hidden due to our own avoidance, naivety, or too young to possibly see the wisdom packed within those chords and words. After all, they were written by someone who was probably going through something profound or at least the subject matter lends itself to that. In the end, it is very relatable and her live performance with the live emotion is what connects all humans and mammals. Try out "In the Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics for a great performance and lesson as to why we have no time to waste being angry with family. Have a box of tissue ready.
You're exactly right. Relatable is the perfect word to describe this song.

What I love about you Dani You have genuine empathy and are not afraid to show your feelings. Thank you. ❤
This was a great tour after this filmed show...saw 2 shows during...however if you havent already...a must see is Rhiannon from 1976 midnight special...just when they got rolling and Stevie brings Janis back
Landslide has always been a favorite of mine. We each have our songs which hit us in our feels and I appreciate your emotional reaction Dani. I never cried to any song until "Million Miles" by Angelina Jordan and that allowed me to feel more emotion from other artists and songs, like this one. Dani, I see you had a livestream dedicated to Elvis and I hope that went well. I had a great time on the Flower Power cruise, enjoying a lot of music from the 60's.
Beautiful! Any song that can bring out your emotions like that is special
@Dani- The Gutarists name is Lindsey Buckingham. Thanks for this reaction. Landslide is one of my fav songs ever an I also love Stevie Nicks.
So good Dani. It is clear to me that it. was the women who were in command of music from mid 70's onward.
Great reaction! I've heard this song for many years, but never really 'heard' it until this time. A song loaded with emotion.

Thank you!! Happy you heard it through a new perspective and with more depth! That’s amazing!
What a beautiful song very heartfelt
She wrote this about lindsey buckingham when they were in aspen co.she was by her self and lindsey was for phi Evelyn brothers.
Don't be ashamed if you feel so deeply that tears come to your eyes. Your heart speaks and connects with all the people who feel the same way. Music is something magical. What happens to us when we listen to music cannot be put into words. It also happens to me regularly that some pieces of music bring tears to my eyes because I was so moved. If it were any other way, I would just be a stone.
Has anyone ever written anything for you . Is my fav of hers.
She wrote it about herself when she was a waitress in Aspen and struggling to make it. Fleetwood Mac one of the great bands.

@@DaniAtkinson that's where the title came from. It also was cut from Rumors because they wanted more upbeat songs and ran out of room.
Isn't it faszinating that some songs make us cry? I got tears in my eyes too hearing that tune.

Beautiful song. Beautiful tears in your reaction. Thank you for it. Peace.
The best version of this
Oh Dani! Here's an internet hug just for you. Whenever I watch this clip and see Stevie and Lindsey pause at the end and look at each other, you just know there's a part of them that STILL loves each other and always will. This song goes back to when they were both together in their formative young years before they became famous or successful.

Thank you for that internet hug! The song probably holds so much meaning for them in so many ways. I didn’t know the depth of their relationship. I want to deep dive into their performances now!
The guitar player is Lindsey Buckingham. They have had a very long stormy up and down sometimes romantic relationship. They were a duo even before they joined Fleetwood Mac together. That uniting led to the Mac's primo years in the 70's. His presence and supportive guitar playing after the decades makes this video even more special.

When I first heard this song I was in junior high school. I thought it was nice, but it hit me very hard when I grew older myself and heard it again after I realized I am not young and invincible anymore.
