Christine was a top notch song writer, musician and vocalist. Always loved her smooth, pure voice. Such a great contrast to Stevie's raspy voice. She was an essential part of a legendary band. Every member is top notch. RIP.

This is from the 1997 "The Dance" concert. There are several other of Christine's hits with Fleetwood Mac that were performed in this same concert. Interestingly, Christie quit the band the very next year after this and went back to the UK to live for the next 15 years. She finally returned to the US to become a member in 2014 and tour in the band. She did her last album with Lindsey Buckingham as a duo in 2017. They toured for a awhile with those songs as well. Christine was such a lovely and talented person. Fleetwood Mac would not have been what it was without her.

Sadly, we lost Christine McVie very recently. I'm glad you're doing a tribute to her. Fleetwood Mac is one of my all-time favorite rock bands. Christine wrote and sang lead on so many of their most classic songs. "Everywhere" is one of the hit singles that came from what I consider their last great album, Tango In The Night,

I thank God for his gift. I'm sick permanently. And when I hear this. I want to get on my Harley and ride and party again. The most beautiful thing God gave man was a woman. Been with my wife 49 years and we are together every where. After this life we will still be together every where. Thank you Christine movie. And fleetwood mac

Was so saddened by the news of her passing. She carried herself with class and seemed like the calm 'eye of the hurricane' of the band. Her songs (of which "Everywhere" is a great example) were so direct, uncomplicated, catchy and appealing. Apart from the classic well-known tunes (e.g., "Say You Love Me," "You Make Loving Fun," etc.) here are my favorite songs by her: "Spare Me a Little of Your Love" (from "Bare Trees" album); "Believe Me" (from "Mystery to Me"); "Never Forget" (from "Tusk"); "Love in Store" and "Wish You Were Here" (from "Mirage"); "Red Sun" (from the "Buckingham-McVie" album).

Christine really kills it on this one with her mature, sexy contralto voice! Your reaction was spot on, this is a even better version than the studio recording. Plus, Lindsey's guitar accompaniment was some of the best ever done by this or any other band. The entire arrangement shows their maturity and incomparable talent as musicians. If they would re-release this version today it would be a number one hit in the west and possibly internationally.

She was a great song writer, and I loved her singing more than I did Stevie. I rate Christine right behind Karen Carpenter's voice. RIP Christine. She was so underrated as a songwriter and especially as a singer, with Stevie getting most of the attention in the band. If you haven't seen the whole live concert, it's awesome.

Lindsay always finger picks, check out some of his solo albums. The metronome in a band is the drummer. I was lucky enough to see Fleetwood Mac 5x in the 1970's. His shared the singing with guitarist Bob Welch, Danny Kirwan was also on guitar. They always put on a great show. R.I.P. Christine McVie. Her maiden name was Christine Anne Perfect and she was a perfect musician.
