i don't like batiks but would make an exception in the boxed up quilt. Simple quilts like the gingham quilt, prove you don't have to make something complicated for it to be considered beautiful. Thanks Tammie.

Sitting at the car repair getting my oil changed and forgot my headphones so I can’t watch yet!😖. Each week I love seeing the variety of quilts and the patterns you choose for them, Tammie. The boxed up was a test drive for a batik quilt my sister has asked for using very bright colors. So that will be coming up for 2024. The bright summery feel quilt was mostly using Kaffe Fassett scraps I had on hand. I felt this was a good use for the misc fabrics I had with bold prints paired with solids to balance everything out in the overall quilt look. My very first quilt was meadowland. I cringe when I think back to how green I was and how many tips and tricks I did not know but it’s still one of my favorite patterns! Thanks for all the work you do to put these videos together. ❤

Forgot to mention thanks for sharing your box of goodies with us! I wish to make and Eye Spy quilt for my little niece in the coming year so I ordered this fat qtr bundle with the animals… I think fussy cutting them will be darling in the quilt

I am new to watching your videos but I find them so soothing with the music you play. It is so lovely to see the quilting creations you share but I think most of all I love to see what pantographs you use. I wonder do you advise your clients what would look best or do you just let them choose? How I wish I lived in your country- I’d definitely send my quilts to you! However, it is a long way from New Zealand so I can only hope I find someone who is as good as you. Cheers, Paula

It’s a little bit of both. I like if they tell me some things they are interested in, what they’re idea for the quilt is. That helps me narrow down some choices. Other times I suggestion something that I think fits a certain quilt perfectly.

Wow, what a beauty! Referring to the quilt using the pattern by Cluck, Cluck, Sew. Love seeing patterns done with different fabrics as am familiar with this pattern. Seeing it done now, will definitely head over to Allisons site and order one as always needing great patterns for all the males in our family..... like lots! And looking forward to seeing the Meadowland quilt as I have that pattern and looking forward to making it myself. Thank you Tammie.

Each one speaks to you in a different way, and what emotions they cause with the beautiful designs, colors, and combination of fabrics. I am sure that I would think one of them to be my favorite if I was quilting them and then the next one would come along and I would think it is a favorite too. I just love them all. Love love love the Meadowland quilt. Have to try that one. What type of batting is your “go to”? I have really takin a liking to the wool batting. But then tonight I finished on the longarm a quilt using 80/20. So many choices to choose from. 😉😂 Have a most wonderful week Miss Tammie. 🤗🤗

I like both 100% cotton and 80/20. I like a medium loft. Not too thin but not too fluffy either.
