Just a suggestion: Have the camera pointing to the rulers straight on so that the audience can see the exact lines or markings that you are referring to.

I love the look of curved crosshatch. The ruler that I first saw was part of a ruler club I think. I watched a video with Marth Higdon and she called the ruler the flipped ruler. I can't find that. What ruler should I buy to be able to do curved crosshatch quilting?

You can do the curved crosshatch with any of the curved rulers. Some of my favorite are the Flipped Curve, Curved Crosshatch Set, and the Curvy Set.

I’ve been using rulers for quite some time now, but with the wave ruler, I have a hard time understanding how to “center” the ruler on, lets say, a border, or sashing section. How do you place the ruler to make sure both the convex and the concave portion of the stitching is centered between?

You will need to determine what the center point is from the top to the bottom of the wave. Find the grid line on your ruler and then move up 1/4". Similar to what is being discussed with the positioning at about 6:25 in the video. In the video we show how to line up the bottom. Same concept just you need to know where the middle point it.
