FJ45 Landcruiser Restoration | How to Install a Marks 4WD Transfer Case Adpator | Episode 10

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Welcome to Jafffa Adventures and the FJ45 Landcruiser Restomod series. In this video I fit a Mark's 4WD Adaptor Kit to my 80 Series transfer case which will be bolted to the back of my 6L90e automatic transmission, which will in turn be bolted up to my LSA and installed in my Toyota Landcruiser FJ45. There are many episodes to come on this build series so be sure to subscribe so you do not miss anything.
Here is the link to the first episode in the series which is a great place to start:

Another educational video Terry. It's good getting in and having a crack at the unknown, you soon realise it's not that hard once you're in there.

Mate, I was seriously out of my comfort zone as well. Lots of big heavy gears that do fancy things🤔😉. Got it in the end but it was not without a lot of sweat equity. Thanks for watching and commenting mate, I sincerely appreciate it 😎👍

I see you know about Mark's adaptors. I'm absolutely not a 4wdriver however I did change my low range transfer case gears on my LC Turbo Diesel Auto. It makes it how it should be. You'll never have run-away in your LC auto again. I really recommend installing low range gearing from Mark's.

Following your content for a while now. Very informative and interesting and great content. Not a fan of an auto box, even less in a FJ45. Engine choice is great btw.

Thanks for taking the time to comment mate, I sincerely appreciate it. The old auto/manual divide is definitely alive and well that’s for sure. The auto box was an easy choice for me having had manuals in my 4WD’s all my life. This is primarily a work ute and will spend most of its life on bitumen and dirt roads. Thanks for watching. I don’t monitise my channel and make no money of out creating this content, I am sharing for sharing sake so encouraging words like yours definitely help. Cheers😎👍

Sorry for asking soany questions but how many splines does the output shaft in your 6l90e have. I had been told that the adaptor from Mark's won't work unless it's a 32 spline. Seems to work just fine on yours.
