that’s one thing! if your art style and structure is solid enough, most people won’t notice those mistakes that you’re still working on learning to fix. some people are scared to show their art cuz of tiny mistakes but the average viewer misses or disregards many mistakes so no point worrying about it

This is something i noticed. Good details can hide mistakes. I noticed the eye was off but it looks so good i chalked it up to stylization
I do think the art looks good. The eyes were off by a long shot but we do have to remember that most humans are not that symmetrical or sometimes have different features a bit lower, higher or a bit more to a certain side

Even though the eyes are placed incorrectly, it looks fascinating
I feel the reason it isnt noticeable is that the shadow is placed directly where the eye is supposed to be, so its as if subconsciously you knew the placement like how faces look different in different lighting, people just accept that part of the shadow is also the eye. so if there were lighting on your lips, causing a shadow, it could look as if the lips were larger cause the shadow gives fake information
Well , redraw the eye in the position and the size you set and that’s when that drawing will start looking weird ! The eyes position are a little off in the original drawing but they don’t need such a big relocation!

I think people are forgetting that the eyes go inwards inside the eyesocket. So in a character that has deeply set eyes, a bit of that distance should be taken into account
I'm so excited that I actually could find the mistake. Wow. I'm progressing and I hadn't noticed. I wouldn't have picked it out if I hadn't been asked to find a mistake though....so great job original artist.

This is a horrendous correction job - the head is not flat planes, and the eyes don't sit on the the face like some stickers on a ball. You have to take into consideration the eye socket, which recedes inwards, and the protrusion of the nose, which would cover part of the far eye. Your guidelines completely disregarded both of these essential features, which made the drawing WORSE than it was before.

I draw eyes so much its my favorite thing I could tell right away. I used to draw them too far apart too.
It still looks really good.
I don't see a problem with the art work, every artist also can have their own touch. Your fix at least with the red lines made it look like his eyes were WAY to close. I think the original artwork is killer and I would love a finished version.
Looked fine to me
The artwork is still awesome.
Only because I spent all day learning how to draw eyes on a 3/4 mapped head did I notice the problem instantly... cuz it was what I struggled with all day. Makes me feel confident in my learning.
I wouldnt put the eyes that close, the spread apart eyes gives character to his face. I would match his right eye to the left

Well the that suits well for that style
In my opinion, art is subjective. Following guidelines is not obligatory but it does help when you're struggling with placements and shapes. The whole purpose of an art is to look good, and some people tend to find professionalism in it that best suits for commercial use.

There is always one eye space between two eyes. Like you draw one then you leave an eye blank and you draw the second eye. The blank space is one eye size between the two.

Nobody said that it's ugly but it's anatomically wrong.
I feel like this is less of a mistake and just a failure of symmetry. Most people dont have symmetrical faces, theres almost always some kind of asymmetry going on. The original unfixed work, actually looks more realistic to me because of the flaws or lack of symmetry. Theres a fine line between realistic and ideal when it comes to art.
It took me some time to realize why I can't see a mistake even tho I understand it. Face is looking one way, while eyes the other. And separately it's okay.
Omg that was the mistake i always do tysm for showing me correct version❤
This man teaches everything
i feel like the eyes are also a bit small but that could very well be their style so more power to them :)
The moment I saw this art one phrase went through my mind, “hesitation is defeat”
The fact that I couldnt recognize this in someone else’s art doesn’t say much to me recognizing it in my own. I rely a lot on other people telling me that “hey this looks off” for me to realize they’re right 😂 but this helps thank you! Now I now how to check A video on how to train yourself to recognize these things would be really useful 👀 tho I’m not sure how that would translate to a video when it’s really all in your head
It looks fine

His proportions are also off. The eyeball is not that small. Even with Asian facial features the breadth of the eyelids needs to be longer. Eyebrows are correct. So it looks even more stark.

you make it easy fantastic yo!😎

Awesome
Like it’s good, like I see like where the eyes are supposed to be like but it was like a good effort, like 😂
Reminds me a lot of Tsutomu Nihei art (Blame!)
It honestly looked better with the “incorrect” eye placement
I’ve been drawing in silence also struggling with my eye placement at this angle, and now KZread shows me this video as soon as I open the app 🤨
Woah here in 7 mins, love your videos help me draw a lot better
The initial art is not wrong, it's just the way our central focal point will see this particular angle because our view is literally spherical, therefore a bit more wide angle. The mathematical perspective on 2D drawings doesn't adjust for that and brings everything into a tighter formation. They're both correct, depending whether you want realistic logic or absolute spherical perspective
or alternernatively, he could just bring the jaw/right cheekbone/mouth further out (since he put more details on the eyes already)
The secret of the are: if it's looking good there is no mistake there are people that can make everything not "corect" and make a art that look professional, and begginers that can make a "correct" art and look like someon that just start to draw
Still dope
Damn it still looked good tho

It's actually better with the "mistake". With art it's not about accuracy but what looks good
The basic measurement I use is just think that the middle area is the same length of 1 eye
I literally also done same Mistakes.. without proper measurement!! 😅😅
Bro! the second you removed the eye's I could see the eyes almost vividly in there right places even before you showed in the video!.
Thank you
Tbh, im not a big of an artist, but the mistake is clear, but the art work is still great, and that's why most people don't notice the mistake, if you'd wanna notice easily, check out the character's brows.
Bro Wtf its so good
I gotta practice
I would have never been able to tell that the eyes were misplaced on this art.
I think it's tge most difficult think in drawing !!! I can draw anything but when I arrive at the eyes I got anxiety always😂 Even with knowing the loomis method...
Me: Its a perfectly good artwork
No. The simple mistake was only that he made the eyes way too small. There should be only about an eye space between them. However, it's okay because it's a style thing. Your "correction" corrected something that was fine and only made more mistakes 😂.
