Did anyone else feel oddly emotional when he talked about the courage to continue your art? I didn’t realize until now how much of an issue that is for me as an artist. I need to take more risks for the sake of growth

bro I am so lucky that I found you. You are the first person who teaches art without any complicated proportions and I enjoy each lesson you post
5:48 My ball-less self has been called out. No truer words have ever been spoken. 😂 That aside, what a wonderful video~ I love the level of detail you go into to make these, from editing, script, context. It's *chef's kiss* I'm so glad I've found your channel! I look forward to your next installment. ☺️
Just have to say, when I found your channel a little less than two years ago, I was struggling to find the motivation to pick up my stylus to try drawing again. Since, I've found myself re-watching your tutorials multiple times whenever I need a refresher and/or a kick of motivation. Love your videos; thank you for all your hard work Mackerel!
1:27 you don’t have to apologize for anything. All of your videos are amazing in quality, animation or not and they are always helpful. Keep up the awesome work, you have inspired me and many others
Man Marcel your art style hits me really hard its always amazing seeing you sketch and it always motivate me to draw so please keep it up and keep uploading !!
one of the funniest and informative videos I've seen yet, a lot of the tips really did help even if I didn't have some of the problems you mentioned but the commentary you put into it made it 10x more fun to watch
I was the same way for awhile, just use an HB pencil or so, then use a 6B pencil to out line it, then… I discovered how an 5h, 6H, or a 2h pencil would be ideal for getting the base done for the drawing, then use a B pencil for our line, 4H for skin or hair, F for shadows in hair, H for shadows on cloths, 3H for light parts of hair, 2h for light parts of cloths. (B stands for Black and H stands for Highlights) That’s what I’ve been told.
This has to be one of the best art channel tutorials I have ever subscribed to. I feel that I have imbued my artistic skills thanks to you, Mr. Marcel. 👏
Thanks Marsel for the video! I struggle with some of these myself. Please don't feel angry about the quality of your videos, I think they are great!
I’m so glad IKEA release a video about some of the problems I was having with my drawing Thanks again and keep up the great work, you have all my support

Umm I have been watching ur videos for a few weeks and practicing and my drawings hv improved a lot . I got really motivated when you said we shouldn't give up . Going to college and my parents telling me to give up on drawing bcs they looked like they were drawn by a 5yo really made me feel like giving up on drawing but thanks to ur amazing tutorials I'm really improving. Thanks so much 😭🤧💞
Hi Marcel! Great vid as always, I always look forward to your uploads! Again thank you for resending the books I ordered after they were lost in Atlanta. Thank you and have a great day! ❤❤❤

I like to see my mistakes as attempts in learning. They basically are in a nutshell.
I can't wait for the future of your channel ps. I loved your water color tutorial for someone who just started water color it has been very helpful.
I Really love your videos and have been watching u since about 2016 on ur german channel thanks for putting so much time in making these
I laugh during every one of your videos. So glad I stumbled across your channel! I've loved every single video you've made. They are all humorous and full of practical tips that are easy to implement, and the topics you cover are everything I've been hoping to address/improve in my artwork. I've learned much even after discovering your channel only a few days ago. Thank you for all the hard work you clearly put in to make these videos; I've sent them to my artist friends and will continue recommending others to you. I appreciate the consistently high-quality content you put out. I may not consider myself a "sir", but I can begin to draw like one now! :)
I wanted to say hello and thank you for helping me and many others in our art journey since I'm early ☺️
I'll be like you someday! Thanks for all the help you've been giving thus far! Hope you get well and I wish you the best of luck!
Keep up the good work mate, your videos are really helpful, and your art is great! Thanks
you don't have to worry about your vids having more visuals. they are still nice to watch
Sir, you taught me the way of the greatest. I can now draw with images in my head, and i got the confidence too. Thanks a lot!
I love your videos, it's really educative ❤️ I appreciate your works.
man you literally made me go from stick figures to developing my own dynamic art style. you're the GOAT.
Honestly thanks for the videos. I've always wanted to be able to draw but have no natrual talent for it. Took art in highschool and a tech art course in college for 3D animation. I always hated my work and that I couldnt draw a character to look good at all. But I've decided to get a sketch book and some mechanical pencils and just draw and try to improve. Idk if im improving yet but the videos help, the reminder to constantly practice, to have confidence. I will hopefully get over my easy frustration and start showing some improvements.
Draw like a sir is practically teaching all this stuff for free 😊thank you so much, you have helped me with my anatomy on people and with drawing perspective and drawing in general.and I’ve watched loads of your very helpful videos.🎉keep up the brilliant work.(I am not a spam robot commenting on your vids)
Appreciate your tips.
I just want to say thank you, because everytime I had a problem with my drawings I always came to ur channel and always find the tutorials I needed (could you do a video on drawing mouths)
This Chanel is so good, i don’t ever miss any of your videos. Ur the best 💪❤️
Love your work. Thank you for everything Marcel.
Michael Myers, don't be so hard on yourself on the editing of your recent videos. Your a busy man and despite that the editing is still top notch. I have learned alot and improved thanks to your videos. I hope you move goes well too!
Thanks for these tips Marcel, you’ve been helping a lot.
Thank you so much for your effort you put into your videos! I appreciate how you make these videos information packed yet to the point and their easy to understand yet hilarious and entertaining. Honestly, when I’m trying to learn a drawing topic, (like hands, perspective, etc) I first look at your channel to see if you cover the certain thing I’m looking for before I look it up elsewhere on KZread.
I’ve learned so much from your videos . So thank you for how much effort and time you spend on your videos even with a full time job. (Nice chainsaw man btw)
Thanks for that type of videos 👌
its always worth the wait to see a new video
I love you Marcel thank you so much and can't wait to see you make more videos
Bro this is awesome...you are the drawing teacher for me
4:46 it's my problem and I really struggle to draw without hatching lines
Sometimes I will hatch lines... BUT... I keep them whisper light... almost not visible... while I do some shape guesswork at times. Then... as you show... trace over it when you know what you are going for. Then when I erase it is super easy to clean because the guess lines were very light. Great video overall.
This video really helped me and Draw Like A Sir is an amazing drawing channel. He more than deserves 1million subs. I mean- have you seen his Shanks sketch? It’s phenomenal! I love that sketch!
These are so much better than the ones who says just keep drawing! Like how to draw it!! Thank you so much
i really appreciate these tutorials maricel!

This video is talking about what it is that you admire in life, what is that you want to do, and put a lot of effort into perfecting it and motivate yourself and most importantly enjoy it don't just do it because you have to but because you love to, it makes you happy, calm, relaxed, and worry free. I'm not yet good at drawing but I know I will get better because it makes me feel happy and every time i excel I feel like I just made it thru one level and I just got wings. I know I'm not the only one so to a whole lot of us out there let's do what makes us happy and one day we will find the real reason we actually draw. Thnx Marcel ❤❤❤❤
bro i found your channel today and i instantly loved your tips!! +1 subscriber, keep up the good work :D
I really needed tip #3😍
This has got to be one of the best art channels!
Marcel Sensei thank you so much for all you efforts to teach us to draw Like a Sir 🐙
Quite interesting tips, Marcilio! 🤪 And the humour is also much appreciated 😆
Good luck on the move, brother. As always, I get a lot of helpful tips from watching your videos.
Love all your videos!
With the 3rd one I actually started drawing lines like that bc before my sister used to make fun of my art a lot so I tried drawing exactly like her for a period of time and and a she told me to make my lines softer and me being young, I didn’t know how so I started doing that. I never ended up drawing like her and after almost quitting I developed my own style, motivation, basicly my own everything with art and I’m rlly happy about that! 😊
Need more vids like this...!! Btw thank you sir 😊
Great tips! Congratulations on the move, hope it goes smooth.
Thank you men You are really helping me Please keep guiding us
the last part really got me motivated to draw more freely. thank you
I love your videos. Very helpful 👌 ☺ 🙂. Thanks! It really helps. Thanks again
