Almost a 2 year old video and it's still applicable today. Updated all my out of date drivers and boom, no Ethernet, followed along with you and ta-dah, just had to roll by my driver. Thanks!

@@MrDerekRobinson I'm having this same issue. I uninstalled it and when I restarted my PC it didn't reinstall. I've tried installing from Intel's website and the ASUS website but it's having issues installing. I keep getting an error that says it isn't digitally signed and it also says devcon.exe failed.

@@tandreasen100 Hey, I got the issue fixed. You need to reinstall the ethernet driver. Cveck from device manager which company internet adapter u have and search for ethernet driver from that company. I have realtek so i downloaded realtek driver and it fixed the issue!

did not think about the trouble shooting wizards, thanks. It found my problem. DHCP is not enabled for "Ethernet 1". Never seen that before. Not sure what that means.

My best advice is to use a usb wifi adapter connect from there and update the drivers from there

I went to netwprk adapters in device manager and there is not my internet cable detected like wth

For me is a different problem. The ethernet port Is working if the PC is off. But as soon as I power it on, it stops working. It is not found in device manager, nor allows me to install the driver. I can only connect thru WiFi.

@@dizoFN I had to use the motherboard jumpers to do a CMOS reset and flash the UEFI, that fixed the issue.

You can do it wirelessly, or simply download the update from another pc and install it via USB on the problematic Pc

@@h1games996 what fixed it for me was: in the device manager -> go to properties on your adapter -> advanced tap -> then there is a setting called "duplex something" i had to set it manually to 100mBit if i did something else it does not work

Ive tried everything? It says its unplugged when its vlearly not and ive plugged it in correctly

Did you uninstall the drivers? You could maybe try to download the drivers from a separate device, put them on a usb stick and plug that into the computer you want to install them on.

I did all this and it still didn’t fix the issue.. I factory reset my computer and reinstalled windows 10 and still same issue.

Maybe your network adapter is not enabled in the PC UEFI(Bios)
