@@subieshopau Question…what if the little balls that connect the handle to the rest is broken? My door handle itself is not broken, but it no longer opens the door from the inside, so I was thinking one of the two “ball end” connectors might be broken. Is that possible and is it an easy fix?

I have a 2010 Subie Forester. My inside handle won’t work so I have to open from the outside. Do you think one of those cables may be broken? I’m going to try and repair myself before going to a garage. Great tutorial!

How much do u charge to replace one side or both

My door hasn’t opened in a year and I can’t open it from the inside or outside and the locks don’t work even if I switch to unlocked manually. What needs to be replaced

It could be a number of issues. But first of all I would be trying to use central locking from the drivers door (the drivers main window switch lock/unlock button) or the car remote to lock and unlock the door and see if it is working for the other doors. If that doesn't work, then I suggest you go to a mechanic as it's not something that could easily be diagnosed here.@@karlarevolorio743
