Yes you're right.....

Thank's for the video. No need to remove the latch nor the handle and the glass can stay in place. I've just did this morning to replace the loudspeakers with new JBL. Took me the whole day for the 4 doors, including sound proofing and cleaning. The rear doors are easier. Now I have a good sound quality and no rattling anymore!

I also want to insulate my doors. Is that possible without taking everything apart? or does that differ per model and year? Can I reach enough by simply raising the panel slightly?

I want to upgrade my speakers. This looks like a right pain in the ass to do. Didn't realise it was this much of a Job. Whys this car such a pain in the ass. Replacing the radio requires a new wring loom for the hazard switch, traction control and airbags, Now I'm going to need to remove the whole fucking window.... TWICE.... I hope the rear speakers are easier atleast.

Brilliant video mate, thanks a lot for this! Today when it was icy outside my window was frozen shut and I stupidly kept pressing the button to make it go down and it separated from the mechanism. With your video I was able to take the doorcard off and put it back together! Cheers

Hi John, Excellent video, Quick question if you got a minute. How can this be done if the window isn't working and can't be lowered to expose the forward window clamp. The only thing i can think of is destroying the door card and cutting a big hole!!!! Any ideas ?

Thanks John, very helpful. But I am stuck at removing the 2 lock screws. T40 torx bit slips and you say to use S2L8 (?), but I can't find this listed to buy anywhere. What type of bit is this?

Not from the top of my head,no But are you sure the the regulator motor is gone? They are strong litlle things as long as they dont have water damage,usualy the regulator pulies and cables are a issue...but anyway...if by any chance you can give me your nr plate i can find out for you. Thx for watching sir

Hi...if is the back door,ceck the child safety lock...if is front,you need to remove the door card🙈 and ceck handle cable or even the door lock...thx for watching sir

I’ve got the same problem , the handles are designed really bad and break, try cubing with your thumb on the hinge end while you pull the handle, that works for me

Lewis Robinson nailed it. We can get by by putting thumb on the hinge while opening it. I can see a little black piece of plastic broken. I sprayed a little bit of lubricant in there too. Getting a replacement ordered now 👍

You aint wrong done my first 1 today at work and i have been working in a busy body shop for last 4 and half years. Got loads of greif off gaffer for taking to long. I told him it had been a complete nightmare.

Ermmm...start with the easy step...remove the soft part from the door card and ceck if any electric plugs came loose or trapped between the door card and door frame...next remove the main plug from the A post and peel back the rubber ,,cover" to ceck for broken loom...because the loom flex every time you open or close the door...fuse is not the case bacause there is no fuse for individual door,is a main one. So now that you excluded electric isues,start looking for mecanic isues...like main lock...or if you had the exterior handle out for any reason,make sure the cable from the handle is not fitted to his max setting,fit it in the midle.
