Simple, straight to the point, and it worked, not like the other videos where they just love to talk all fucking day

Watched and tried other videos before getting it to program with this one. My '06 Forester did not beep or chime, and for those trying, when putting in the code (twice), the lock/unlock button will not be activating the locks. 10 seconds after finishing, my new remote works. Thank you!

I have a 2006 as well and can’t for the life of me get it into programming mode. What exactly did you do?

I did exactly what she does in this video. Only, my vehicle did not chime at all, but I kept going following the video till the end. I also had about a 5-10 second delay until the buttons on the fob worked, as she did.

Excellent instructions. Worked perfectly. I’m used to all of my efforts with technology ending in failure, so I was expecting it not to work. But these instructions were easy to follow and my new key fob programmed perfectly to my 2008 Subaru Outback. Thank you!!

You're Awesome... I've seen other videos where they put the fob in a chip reader just to get that code, and there it is... Right on the circuit board. Just have to know where to look. Thanks for sharing.. You've helped over 14,000 others with your post.. Thank you..

I was struggling to understand the written directions for my key fob. This tutorial was so helpful! It worked immediately to program the key fob on my 2009 Subaru Forester.

we just got a 2007 subaru forester, purchased from an elderly fellow - he said his fobs hadn't been working for some time - so we got new batteries, and when we tried to program, the car didn't chime when we tried this process. What would you suggest?

Are you using the up/down window button? I have a Tribeca. Did exactly the same thing, with the lock/unlock button, nothing happened? Wonder if I should use the up/down window button ( unless the door locks symbols are different?)

It’s not in the manual you need to open up the key fob, its in the key.

I'm sorry it seems to have worked for everyone else. Maybe try again? Or maybe depending on your year and model it doesn't work this way? I'm unsure If its the same process for other Subaru models
