Love playing Cypher, but rolling natural 1s three times in a row not so much 😅😅😅 Thanks for the special mention though 😅😂💛

Used to be a player in our group who adored rolling 1s, just to see how the GM responds. Covid broke the group and they moved on, but that eager joy for failure was so refreshing while they were with us.

I'm really looking forward to some of the extra books coming out for cypher like tidal blades and old gods of Appalachia. I think cypher has the potential to be the most diverse game out there if people keep adding more things like that to it!

I love that you touch on Effort and how amazing it can be. Like that was one of the main reasons I'm into Cypher is because it lets me express when my character is pushing themselves in a reasonable way.

For me, the static "levels" of NPCs and monsters is my greatest joy. Long before the players arrive on the scene, I can run a comparison on all of the static values and determine exactly how it would play out before they arrive. It means that the players can in fact encounter a semi-logical encounter due to that prior prep being so easy. GMs can more easily prepare any scene in minutes. Great for busy people.

I have the "salontafel" version of the shelves you have in the back there. And those look good, might add them to my rec room :D

If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it with a GM that is familiar with it or narrative play. It's SO GOOD at having the players inject narrative and make things easy to flow whether they are basic actions or not.

@@MrTarrasque it was a kickstarter now on dms guild. It's an awesome book filled with a bunch of stuff about druids including a dire druid class that is a half caster. A bunch of druid subclasses and cool spells, items, lore on why they don't use metal armor etc

It is possible to add the interaction between different elements like "Genshin Impact" and the weapon mastery system like "Albion online" using Cypher system? (I want to make a world inspired on "Solo Leveling", but adding interesting elements from different video games that I really did loved)

@@MrTarrasque Oh i'll find a way! But honestly my biggest concern is that my players won't like it as much as I do and that makes me not want to run it. Why is human mind so weird?
