Always love watching updates. Used to watch Mike Mann's videos all the time back in the day. Heck I think he and I have been friends for almost 10 years now. Glad to see you got one of his umbee pairs. I almost got a pair of red isletas from him but I just didn't have room for another tank at the time. lol. Glad to see that you still keep Oscars. Still my favorite fresh water aquarium fish of all time.

Awesome tanks and the fish look amazing so healthy, I see only filtration is sponge filters - do you use any other filtration ?

On the to 300 gallon tanks I don’t use sponges. One of them I use 2 canister filters and the other I use a sump. The water density is too much that sponges don’t work. But all the other tanks I only use sponges with one central air pump.

I like all the the tanks alot. How are your midas and devils not trying to kill tankmates?

For whatever reason they don’t go after the smaller Cichlids or clown loaches. I guess I’ve been lucky.

I try to do 90% changes 3 times a week
