Man that was an awesome video! I couldn't really get much audio on my computer, but what line weight did you use? Also, what power is your rod? I've got that exact same rod but it's rated extra heavy action. I'm just curious if my setup would land one of these monsters.

We got some Alligator Gar at Granger Lake located between Taylor, TX and Granger, TX. I'm lucky enough to live 30min away and I often drive out their and walk the banks with my dogs, then watch people fish and see what they get. There is a fishing area near the spill way of the dam where people fish and gar is often seen swimming around, but as where to find them they are every where in every river/lake just have find them. Thanks for sharing and happy fishing.

The body, the shape, the olive green colors and that canine like teeth makes this thing the rarest fish we ever seen.. im 22 years old and the first time saw this fish when I was 20. Just 2 years plus from now. I havent know anything about this fish but this ai probably say that this fish is so special
