Fisherman harassed me while bass fishing || I lost my cool (Was I Wrong!?!?)

Ойын-сауық

So this is a interesting video to say the least. It has a little bit of everything from getting hooked to fighting to getting attacked by mosquitoes so I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching!!!

He was an asshole. He started it. You handled it a lot better than most people. A lot of people would have been a lot more aggressive towards someone like that... telling him to "go f____ off" or something. I'm impressed that you didn't cuss him. May have been best to completely ignore this troublemaking jerk from the very beginning. It's sad really. You would think fisherman out on a lake would be really cool with each other while doing something they both love to do.

You actually did other fishermen a favor by putting this fishing Karen of a man in his place. I'm sure you weren't the first fisherman that this guy thought he was privileged over while fishing and got away with bullying around. You did what any other guy ( with Kahunas ) would do, show them how to share rivers and lakes, get along by being polite, and have a good time fishiung.

Thank you for your service. However you do not have the right to cut someone off, by jumping in front of them, now you can fall in line at some distance and fish behind them but keep your distance. It's like being at an amusement park, or in any line, and someone goes around you and cuts in line, how do you feel about that....this is the same principle on the water. It is not illegal, but is it piss-poor raising and piss-poor fishing etiquette. Same way you do not play through in golf to get ahead of someone unless they give you permission!

Its a video, not all was captured....70 years old been fishing since I was 10 or younger. I personally think there is no need for any conflict on the water....the lakes are big enough to avoid as well as rivers long enough to move on. I personally think you could have handled it better and just moved on; but you made a personal decision to escalate ......its a hormone thing. I went fishing as I do almost everyday on Lake Lewisville, this particular day I was bank fishing as I often do. This young man in his mid to late 30s was fishing with his two daughters and his wife. I acknowledge him and gave the typical Top of the Morning greeting along with asking are they biting? He just glared me as if I just violated him...I moved some 75 to 100' away from him and his family and made a cast directly in front of my position.... He screamed "YOU CROSSED MY FUCKING LINE!!!!!" I looked down the bank at him and asked, where are your lines? He shouted back "ALL OVER!!!!" I could have argued the point but decided just to put my boat in the water. He was scum looking for a fight. All I am saying, is sometimes the bigger man regardless of age just walks away......trust me, he did not scare me in the least, he was just a loudmouth and I am just T.T. a Toting Texan.

@@jeffmarks1506 you obviously don’t fish much if that’s how u think. A boat drifts down stream NOT upstream therefor he set up in his drift. As a boat captain I’ve had the same and did the same to people and felt bad after when I realized I cut them off and caused them to break off or basically steal the fish from under them. Just out of courtesy I tend to try and keep a good amount of distance. Doesn’t mean don’t post up or fish in the same general area. Just give a person a bit of space it’s simple
