how do these custom McCargo boots compare to other custom boots you've had?

First of all they are notably lighter. The weight saving comes partly from the thinner upper material which makes it wrap around the foot really well. With the new carbon layup including those tubes the shell of the boot remains super stiff and direct when skating. There are a few more minor points but those are the most important to me.

Yes - those are custom made

Yes you can. Talk to your local Powerslide dealer and make a appointment to get your feet molded.

It’s the XXX base but custom made

Not really but only up to 110mm wheels are allowed for competitions
