Well.. They did kill Pennywise... This IS the end of the original story... BUT... They are in pre-production on a prequel series called "Welcome To Derry" The same director/producers on these 2 movies.. are working on it right now! I can't wait!!
A couple of fun facts. And I’m sure there are others that I don’t know about but: the man at the business meeting who started talking first is the actor who played the younger version of Ben in the original television movie version. Also, a lot of the fans lobbied for Amy Adams to play the adult Beverly because she and the younger actors work so much alike. But the actors who play the younger versions of the characters, got to provide input on who of their adult selves would be. The young actress chose Jessica Chastain
@ct6852

I was really surprised Chastain was in this. I don't think of her as horror movie type at all. But I'm sure she could do whatever she wanted. Great actress.

In the book what really terrified IT was the concept of ANOTHER. There was The Turtle who accidentally thew up the Universe ( it wasn't his fault, he had a bellyache) but he only observed. IT was quite contemptuous of Him. But as more of The Losers survived IT's attacks It began to fear Another was helping them, which was why It needed Henry's help.
Hannah’s screaming makes me laugh every time. I love how committed you guys are to every movie ❤❤
Ash looks really good with his long flowing hair. And Hannah as usual entertains with the way she screams out in surprise.
Glad you guys enjoyed! Struck out on the 2 theories lol (Mike being dead and Pennywise being tiny). If you're at all curious, it's actual shape is the 3 Deadlights. Just 3 balls of light than can take whatever form they choose
@brooklynnewyork23

I mean Its true form can't even be comprehended. Pennywise is just essentially an avatar that uses glamouring as it's power to eat fear. 😊
@JMUDoc

Its natural form causes people to either go insane, or die, in the novel. Ben gets very close to seeing it, thinking of it as a shapeless lump of solid, slivery-orange light (which explains Pennywise's hair and costume).
@adgato75
Күн бұрын
@@JMUDoc I don't think he ever specifically said so, but i think this idea was inspired by "X: The Man with X-Ray Eyes". Which I know King has seen, as he wrote about it at length in "Danse Macabre".
I remember getting emotional because of the Eddie death scene, and also it's the first time a Horror movie made me cry in a cinema's room. On the other hand, if I could choose anybody from IT chapter 2's cast, it would be definitively "Bill Hader", frankly he was the funniest one of the movie. In fact, he said on a talk show; "he couldn't stop smiling on the set of It chapter 2".
Hannah, you really gotta read the book. It’ll answer so many questions, like when Richie got trapped by the Deadlights when he wasn’t scared. It’s my second favorite novel; the first being The Stand, both by Stephen King

Not so fun fact: Murder of Adrian Mellon that kicks off the events of the film was based on a real murder of Charles O. Howard, that took place in Bangor, Maine (a town that Derry is largely inspired by) on July 7th, 1984. The group of homophobic teenagers chased him and his boyfriend and threw Charles down the bridge into Kenduskeag Stream, where he unfortunately drowned. In 2004 a monument was erected there in his memory, and the date of his death, July 7th is now Diversity Day in Bangor
