From what I've read, Richie and Eddie weren't ever gay in the book. It was all something they added in the films, although Stephen King said he personally didn't mind the change.

At the end with Stan’s letter and Richie carving the initials into the bridge I just broke down. I just want to say, not only are these two movies good horror movies, but they’re amazing movies in general especially with the aspect of friendship. It chapter one is one of my favorites and though it chapter two didn’t quite live up to chapter one, it was still a great movie.

I just love the interview where Eddie goes 'oh once the director said 'ACTION' Bill got immediately into character and started to drool all over me, it was awesome!' But then after 'CUT' Bill would go up to Eddie and just start apologizing but Eddie's actor was just like 'no that was awesome, keep doing that!' Love that the kids and adults in these 2 movies acted so goddamn good.

These kill counts are starting to get as long as the actual movies. I like it.

I cannot believe I am still crying over Eddie's death even in kill counts.

I have this theory about Stanley. I think the reason why he was able to truly remember while getting the phone call from Mike while the others had to come back to gain the memories is because he was the only one who truly never accepted what happened to them. Sometimes when you try to repress a memory, it can be easily triggered by something as simple as a phone call. By him trying to deny that Pennywise exists, he gave It a lot of power over him mentally because he didn’t try and process the fear, he just tried to repress it. Again, this is just a theory.

Bill was adorable with those kids 😭😭😭 “Hey guys, you ready to beat the shit out of me?” As he high fives them all. Amazing.

The fact that eddies death (and richies reaction like holy fck) even made me cry just by you talking about it makes me really think richies actor deserves an oscar for that.

Thinking about the small bit of dialogue from Pennywise that was cut in the first movie directed at Richie implying he was gay. It would have made the internalized guilt Richie showed this movie a lot more clear and would have added a bit of context to Pennywise talking about Richie's "dirty little secret." Plus I'm sorry y'all, Richie re-carving R+E into the fence and smiling to himself?? Oh my guy was deeply in love with Eddie, can't tell me otherwise.

As someone who has hated horror for about 25 years of my 29 year life due to panic attack-inducing traumatophobia (fear of injury, gore, etc), I actually love how comedic this movie is. It was a great test of my years of exposure therapy, and being able to laugh during a scary scene is a juxtaposition I think is fantastic. I hate vomit, especially vomit going into another person's mouth, so having a song play during Eddie's token scene made me burst out laughing so hard we had to pause the movie while I tried to catch my breath. Rather than being disgusted, that incredibly out-of-left-field directing choice made the scene not only something I could watch without freaking out, but even go back to watch again.

36:47 it would be funny if the last thing they said to pennywise was "AND YOU GOT A BIG ASS FOREHEAD" and then he died

I mean, the whole reason Pennywise goes after children is because they have more tangible fears then adults. It... somehow fits that the second half is less scary then the first.

Kinda makes sense that the pennywise actor, and the bullies, would make sure the younger actors/victims, in the story were ok after each scene. I think it would be weird to play a monster/psychopath, particularly, when the targets are younger children. I would suppose that comforting the children was as much a comfort for them as for the children. Nobody really wants to be the source of an adult's childhood induced dysfunction.

@@ikimadrider The Wizard of Oz had a hellish production where the actors and cast members were almost inhumanly treated, the original guy to play the Tin Man died because of the chemicals in the makeup, and some other actors also carried scars and everlasting damages after what they endured on that set. Almost on par with the production of The Island of Dr. Monreau

It's all fun until you wonder how it would have been like if Pennywise was played by some extreme method actor that keeps in character on sets and terrorising kids and staff even when the cameras are not rolling.

I love that Bill Skarskar was keeping the young actors safe. Bill:You okay young actor: Yeah im alright 😊

I got so scared at the part where Pennywise scared Richie at the Paul Bunyan statue (from the flashback attack to the part where Pennywise sings and runs toward him) when I first saw this movie 😅

That clip about Barbara Muschietti and those two girls talking about casting Jessica Chastain is great for a number of reasons. Those two girls, Megan Charpentier and Isabelle Nelisse, who play two bullies in Chapter One, actually played the two girls that Chastain’s character adopts in the movie “Mama”, also directed by the Muschietti’s, meaning all five of them are probably friends!

That's why the movie was so good...True passion :) The characters/actors were so nice to.

I usually hate humor breaking up serious moments (looking at you MCU), but for some reason it just worked for me in this movie. Maybe it was the fact that the scenes were pretty hilarious which made it worth it. When Bill Hader looks up and sees the spider stanley head right above him and just casually goes "oh there he is!" I fucking died

Eddie's death and Richie's reaction to it will always make me cry. I mean I haven't watched the movie in years and I just cried during this kill count right now! I'm sad that Richie couldn't get a happy ending. Seeing him re-carving their initials and the sad, regretful yet still happy smile he gives it broke me! I couldn't even focus on Stan's letter once they showed Richie.

Bruh James is the best kill counter on youtube in these 43 minutes I didn't get bored once much love to the dead meat cast especially James

I have to admit - I was looking back on your videos from when the channel started, and while the production has always been really good you've really come into your own now and it shows. Your energy bursts through when you talk and it feels so much more entertaining with the vibe you're putting out due to you growing into this series. This is random but thank you James for giving me content to rewatch and enjoy and helps me through my bad mental health times.

I've never seen something as wholesome as Bill Skarsgård in full costume and makeup checking on the younger actors and bonding with the ones from the prequel, not to mention the fact that Jackson Robert Scott (Georgie) had cried when he was kept from seeing Pennywise, now THAT's how you know that the villain in a horror movie is a real good one inside and outside filmmaking

This movie is so scary that the actor of pennywise locked himself in a hotel for months and got a lot of bad vivid dreams.

One thing I like about this movie is that the fight with Pennywise toward the end feels like one of those video game boss fights except more flashy
