Great reaction! When I was a teenager reading my older brother's Marvel Comics collection in the 1970s, Dr. Strange was always one of my favorite titles. A product of the 60s and 70s, the stories were deeply philosophical and psychedelic and I was very happy to see that reproduced so well in the movie. It instantly became one of my favorite movies in the MCU. I am glad you enjoyed it as well.

Lol Its not a cape!🤭 Its name is the Cloak of Levitation. So it’s a cloak, not a cape. If u could tell, u aren’t the first person to call it a cape. But the Cloak is my favorite mystical object in the whole MCU. It has touch memory - it instantly knows the wearer’s true intentions, every memory u’ve ever had & can anticipate the sorcerer’s needs. It’s an extension of the wizard. And it has its own free will! It only serves the wizard for as long as it wants. It’s sentient. Anyway…Cloak is so special & awesome. No offense to Mjolnir, or any other “magical items”, but Cloak is it.😉

Somebody’s stranded in the middle of the desert? Portal. Ab to die in the death zone of Everest? Portal. Ship just sank in the middle of the ocean? Portal in front of everyone. In a house fire & there’s no way out? Portal. Etc etc.

Regarding the identity of the Air Force Colonel whom Dr. Strange refused to treat: Iron Man 2 was released in 2010. A test subject was injured by Justin Hammer's bad suit. The Avengers was released in 2012. The Ancient One told Banner/Hulk that he was about 5 years too early. Civil War was released in May 2016. Rhodes had his horrible "accident". Dr. Strange was released in November 2016. He had an attitude problem. The injured Air Force Colonel had to be James Rhodes. Billy: "I’ve got a 35-year-old Air Force colonel. Crushed his lower spine in some kind of experimental armor. Mid-thoracic vertebral fracture." Tony Stark: "The doctors say he shattered L4 through S1 (lower spine). Extreme laceration in the spinal cord. Probably looking at some form of paralysis." (from "Civil War")

I liked the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton). It is sad they killed her off. Strange's origin story reminds me of Tony Stark. Hey Evie! Shout out from the US Marine Corps! You know that broom when it fell over in the custodian closet. They say it actually wasn't meant to fall over. And Rachel Adams reaction is not scripted. But then if you look at it, when it starts to fall, it wasn't up against the wall or anything. It was already falling when it paned to that scene. It looked like it was pushed over. Which leads me to believe this was meant to happen and scripted. Otherwise, why wouldn't they put the broom at the point in that scene where it started to fall. But I still believe maybe it wasn't scripted. Anyway, great reaction to this movie! I love watching you react! Keep up the great work! ❤🤍💙💛

The mop head was sitting in the top part of a bucket (in the wringer, perhaps). That could explain why the handle eventually fell over. The wet mop head flattened or changed shape, which took the handle out of balance.

Fun fact, Nepal, where Steven goes looking for Kamar-Taj, generally ranks way down (bottom 10) on average population height by country, which probably explains why Cumberbatch and Ejiofor tower over them in those scenes. Also, Strange is a Ph.D as well as a medical doctor, so even though he can't practice medicine, the Ancient One is incorrect in referring to him as "Mr". You're welcome for explaining these very important and critical facts.

A fantastic movie. Shame the sequel was a big step off a cliff. Also the Ancient One was using the dark side but she was balanced. You have to have both light and dark to be balanced, if you only have the light and refuse the dark, that's out of fear. You wont ever be balanced if you reject the dark and only cower in the light. You must have both the light and the dark, and not prefer one over the other. Use both for what they are needed for. That is balanced.
