She actually saw an outfit that looked like this jumpsuit in a magazine, and it was enough to inspire her, but nothing realated to Cher. Idk, but I think this info is in an interview or documentary.

Ps. MAC Cosmetics launched a Selena makeup line in 2019 and it SOLD OUT within minutes. Additionally, she received a Hollywood Walk of Fame in the same year. She was murdered by her fan club president a month after this - her last - performance. She broke the attendance record in this performance with more than 65,000 people present.

She passed 21 days after this concert, her very last live performance I believe .

She sings songs in Spanish, too. You don't have to understand Spanish to know what she's singing because she sings with her heart. "No me queda mas" is a beautiful ballad. "Como la Flor" is the last song she sings in this concert. Probably her biggest hit.

I think Selena was one of the last true performers of the time. She sung, she danced, never stopped moving and all of it was genuine. She was designing her own clothes, learned Spanish as she sung and made a concerted effort to better connect with fans, and I think if she wasn’t killed, it’s possible her name is mentioned around the likes of MJ or Madonna.

She was definitely making a name for herself. I was 12 when she died and I had never heard of her before. I like her English and Spanish songs❤RIP.

You should react to her Si Una Vez (live from Astrodome) performance from that same concert, or her song I Could Fall in Love. Both are great songs.

she left the world at 23, at the very height, drawing some of the largest crowds, breaking records and paving the way for the latin sound explosion the following year of artists like Marc Anthony, JLo, Shakira, etc. She will always be young, she will always be beautiful. A goddess of her time. ❤🌹🥀

What you say is true. I met her many times in Houston and she was the sweetest, most loving and humble person there was. I was also at her last concert at the Astrodome

Knowing she dies just a month after this it is really hard to hear her sing the words, “I have all my life to live, I have all my love to give. I will survive.”

You should watch the rest of the concert. Even though it’s in Spanish you’ll still love it!

I love all your reactions. I began watching your BTs reactions here and on Patreon. Now I am here for your Selena reactions. Selena was just pure talent that was taking the music industry by storm. I actually live about 20 miles from Corpus Christi TX, where she grew up. Her family still lives there and they have a small museum dedicated to her. Her band consisted of her Sister on drums and Brother on base, plus he helped write her songs. Later on her future husband joined as guitarist. I can't wait to see more reactions to Selena and to watch you learn more about her career. It was definitely cut too short!

She broke the RECORD IN ATTENDANCE @ this HOUSTON ARENA. She was 23 & was already a fashion icon and making music in both english and Spanish. She was from Corpus Christi Tx.
