People have this thing about boys groups. They say many are girly etc. People have made fun of boys groups like that for a while.

Girlie Imma be honest, this whole video had me cackling🤣🤣🤣 you have no idea what kind of rabbit hole you have stumbled across. I love that exploring music has changed your perspective and opened you up to different things. Thank you for giving our boys a fair chance and I hope you continue to find more of their music. It’s a popular saying in ARMY (the name of our fandom) that you don’t find BTS; BTS finds you when you need it most. ​@@djlivvy46 Tbh as an ARMY, blanket statements like this seem unfair to me...there are several other groups who are incredible performers onstage, just as good if not better dancers/performers than BTS in certain ways. And again I'm ARMY 100% through and through, but I'm just being objective about it. Yes nobody is doing it like BTS, but at the same time there are other groups that are doing their own thing that BTS couldn't do. It's like comparing apples and oranges is what I'm trying to say.

Jimin's voice is angelic. There is no other like it. He dances like he's floating on a cloud. Stand close to something soft and be prepared to pass out. They can DANCE, and sing while doing it!

They are the most well known KPop group in the world. They are record-breaking in SK & all over the world. They have had the most #1's in the Billboard Top 100 in a year, breaking the record set by the Beatles. They were "Artist of the Year" in 2021 @ the American Music Awards. They have 10+ Billboard Music Awards. They have won over 700+ awards globally in 10 years since they debuted in June 13th, 2013.

No disrespect for all other kpop groups but BTS is THE group of kpop, most famous, most impactful and most recognized in the world. No one can top them at the moment, boy or girl. They always win awards, American Music Awards, Billboard, u name it. They are the only kpop group in history to been nominated for a Grammy 3 times! No one in kpop has eve done that. Yes, MUST have the subtitles on. Their songs have deep meanings, especially the last 2 songs in the Tiny Desk Concert. And, can they dance? Omw, ABSOLUTELY! You wlll not believe their dancing. So many recommendations to make. They love their fans (called ARMY), who are ALL ages. They do not lip sync. YOU MUST react to A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari. This video will introduce you to each member, their struggles, achievements, and just how wonderful they ALL are. They are humble, caring, and multi-talented. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan which means Bulletproof Boyscouts in Korean. They have an incredible story - they debuted in 2013 and have been grinding at the music industry ever since. They’re true underdogs who have swept the world! I recommend checking out the intro video from Xceleste to get some of the basics down. And maybe when you have time to check out the introduction to members video by Taylor. Lots of good stuff.

To give my comment some context, I'm a 63 year old guy, retired police officer from Kentucky, who grew up with Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, E,W, & F, a whole lot of Motown, and in my opinion the best music to ever be...UNTIL these guys. Two years ago I had NO idea that Korean culture had anything to do with pop music. I have now crammed 13 years worth of BTS into the last two years. Once you've learned where these guys came from, how it happened, and what they have had to overcome to be where they are now, and accomplish all they have, you WILL (trust me) become ARMY. This fan base is like nothing I've ever seen. I watch a lot of the reaction videos from a lot of people, and have enjoyed the honesty in your reactions the most, so, so far, you are the ONLY one I've subscribed to. Good luck on this journey, and hold off on your bias, (mine is V), as it will change several times before you are sure! P.S. don't let your partner know you watched "Serendipity" live by Jimin. I won't let my wife watch it. I adore her and wanna keep her!!!!

This was in pandemic time,so they didn't go to NY but did the TDC in Seoul (at "Home") . As for their Mics and in-ears, everyone has his color. It's one way to distinct/recognize them if you don't know them. Because they change their hair (almost) everytime!😁 The blue haired one is RM, their Leader. My bias!!🥰

I was just like you I didn’t like the music that was coming out and just stuck with what I loved growing up 90’s hip hop, R & B, Funk, and Break dancing up tempo house music. I’m 40 and I haven’t liked a Band so much in a long time that had Harmony and Rhythm. Sit back strap on your seatbelt, this’s gonna be a great journey to knowing BTS and where they started till now. I started following few months ago because of Harry Mack and now I’m on a ride along with you to BTS!

- None of them except one spoke English at the time of this performance. - "Home" edition is when people record their NPR Tiny Desk Concert AT HOME during the pandemic because they were lock downs everywhere and people could not travel. - Tiny Desk has been around before the pand*mic. I used to watch it a lot before I found BTS. - "Do they dance?" 🫠 OH BOY - About having 7 of them in the group: They are currently exploring solo projects as they each wait to go into their mandatory military service, and the interesting thing is that two of them have already said the same thing: How hard it is to carry their performances alone for 2 straight hours or so, when they are used to having 6 others, with two sub-units (rap line and vocal line) at times taking turns to perform in live concerts.

I hope you enjoy your journey. I began mine almost 4 years ago and I have no regrets. BTS debuted in 2013 and they have over 300 songs covering various genres and subject matter. And they all have their own solo work too. And they have great personalities which you see in all their other content aside from music. Just take your time because there is a lot to catch up on. Just a heads up military service is mandatory in South Korea where BTS is from so right now they are pursuing solo projects until they all complete their service. Military service is a minimum of 18 months and the oldest member of BTS- Jin enlisted this past December and J-Hope will be the 2nd member of BTS to enlist very soon. But BTS are still very much a group and plan to do more music together in 2025 when they are all done with their military service. I've been subscribed and watching you since practically the start of your channel. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is BTS. My daughter is 16 years old and has been part of army, which is what the fans call themselves and BTS calls their fans. They really came up through social media it was a really hard Road in the beginning and their back story is absolutely amazing. You asked if they could dance all my goodness you're in for a major treat especially jhope and jimin. Army will be in your comments that's for sure and they will tell you exactly what to watch. Welcome to the world of BTS. Me as a mother as someone who has a daughter obsessed with BTS I'm okay with it actually because they are really good young men and they have a really good message. These young men really got my daughter through some hard times during the pandemic when she was very isolated and depressed. They've spoken at the United Nations and that the White House. They do not take their fans for granted at all they do everything for them.I really admire these young men very much and they will soon be going into the actual South Korean military because of mandatory duty. One member has already gone and another will be in going in in a month or two and then they will rotate and come back together in 2025. They're doing some solo projects right now. They have won every major award in South Korea and the only thing they're lacking right now is a Grammy. Yea, BTS!! :) They really are humble kings. A lot of people think that kpop has taken over the world, but really it's BTS that has. Amazing, considering they were industry outsiders with all the cards stacked against them in South Korea. BTS accounts for 50% of the kpop movement we see globally. There are hundreds of other groups comprising the remaining 50%. Blackpink has sold about 1/10 of what BTS has sold, and that's even with BP's backing of a big company when they debuted. Now, those girls can get it and are REALLY talented and hard working. But BTS is another level and were given the opportunity to reach that level by their company's focus on authenticity -- writing and producing their own music and taking creative control. I enjoy a good girl power song, but it does lose a little potency when you realize those songs were written by a guy with zero input from the performer. That said, I do have BP on my playlist, so no hate. :) I think if you watch their come up in Taylor's video, you will understand just why the fans are so excited and protective when it comes to BTS. 💜💜 (And you'll also understand what the purple hearts are about, lol)

They are amazing dancers and their dancing will blow your mind in their music videos as well as live performances. Each one of them are accomplished artists who contribute to writing, composing, producing their music of which there are over 200 songs in various genres. I love how you appreciate their work. their origin story is honestly insane. They are the definition of underdog and none of them planned on truly becoming kpop idols originally. It’s crazy to learn abt how they ended up together

As you mentioned it was recorded in 2020, when in most countries we were in confinement, hence Home. The first song, Dynamite, was released to give encouragement to ARMY (their fandom) and the general public, at a time when we needed it most. And the truth is that these guys are always thinking of us ... even as a group they have songs composed especially for the fandom, and individually they have given away songs (originals and covers) through soundcloud and youtube. In addition, many of their songs have great messages that have helped millions of people overcome problems and have even prevented suicides. As you mentioned they were singing live, it is important to mention that they don't like to lipsync, so they like to sing live at concerts, for TV shows, their lives, etc; even when they have the backing track you will hear their live vocals over it. Ive read that BTS spend hours upon hours perfecting their craft. They really brought K-Pop to the U.S. and introduced us to a genre that spread and they made it mainstream. The important thing is note that if you turn on subtitles and really get into the lyrics, BTS sing alot anout individuality and just being who you are, unapologically. They are such a talented group and their hard work in rehearsals jave paid off. Reaction was killer on this one Britt!

So that you understand it in a single sentence: BTS PAVED THE WAY. If other groups sing, dance, act and rap well, then BTS does it triple. They are composers of almost all their discography. Producers, amazing dancers. They are the industry standard. They are the best. You run the risk of falling in love if you keep seeing them. The studio versions are incredible but live they are from another universe.

You mentioned their microphones. They did a collaboration featuring Halsey. She also liked their microphones and they presented her with her own pink sparkly microphone.

Oooh, if you really wanna see some dancing there is so much choreography. 2 or my favorites are On (the kinetic manifesto film is choreography focused, but the offical mv is gorgeous too) and there's a dance practice for the song Run BTS. Have fun :)

You've just had a typical first experience of BTS 💜 Yes, they can dance anyone under the table. Mr. Cheekbones on the far left JHope (Jung Hoseok) was a street dancer before he became a trainee. Last Friday, he released a new single On The Street with J.Cole who is his inspiration. BTS debuted in 2013 and has won over 700 awards, they are beyond comparison with any other groups. BTS don’t do pre-recorded or lip syncing apart from obviously in music videos and they are completely live here. I suggest you watch the BTS guide to the seven members by Taylor. Yes they dance, Jimin and J-hope were dancing before BTS and RM and Suga were both known on the underground rap scene before BTS. They can sing, dance, rap and they all write, produce and most play instruments too.

Great, great singers and rappers, and brilliant dancers. Problem with the screen ,the image is very faded, not solid looking. They are all handsome, fit and have modelled and represent fashion houses. And best of all they are really nice, humble guys. They were put together over about 2 years and debuted in 2013, when they were still very young. So they have been performing together for 10 years which is why they work together so well The one you like with the purple sparkly mic is Jungkook, who was the opening singer at the 2022 Football World Cup in Qatar. They are from Korea, but way ahead of Blackpink, Blackpink would love to come even near to them.

Omg yes this was me. I saw Singularity and had to know who Kim Taehyung was, and that was all she wrote...best decision of my life to dive in deep. :)

They are the greatest artists I ever knew ..they gave me my passion back and made me love music again…they are precious and if u fall in this rabbit hole u will understand..they write their own music ,dance , sing ,and have a lot of activities that help any depressed people to forget their bad feelings , they went live broadcast and talk to the fans ..I love them so much ..use the cc next time to read the lyrics they are another level..I can’t compare any other group to them ..

8:13 this was recorded/performed during covid so they couldn’t actually go to the locations for this so they built the set and everything in Korea where they are from.
