A six year old having such compassion for other individuals amazing . now aged 17 and as we all have , will make mistakes as she grows into adulthood , but we should not be over harsh with any criticism , she is not a Saint just a special human with a special talent.

Well said Tom! Like everyone, I worry about how much she’s affected, but I also worry about the effect of a lifetime of adulation. There’s only so much anybody, even the most humble can absorb unscathed. I actually hope she doesn’t read too much of our praise.

@@danspicks Thanks for your reply, I'm a relatively new fan of ANGELINA perhaps just over a year ,but I was hooked from when I first came across " bohemian rhapsody " and have since soaked everything up like a sponge, you make a good point of over adulation it worries me also and to be honest some of ANGELINAS decisions/ choices relatively recently have surprised me , I would had advised her differently but that's not my place that's for those around her .as I've said she will make mistakes but I hope ANGELINA and those around her learn from those mistakes.

She asked the little girl she met, What do you want to be when you grow up? The little girl said, "I want to be a DR" The little girl asked Angelina, What do you want to be? Angelina said "I want to be a singing star" She then told the little girl, "I will never wear shoes singing until I am a Star and you are a DR"

I think you really getting to know why she was declared a national treasure of Norway by the King and Prime Minister

AJ's grandmother, Mery Zamani, was a child prodigy, and is a famous artist, and has been a major force in AJ's upbringing.

She is truly an angel, and when she looks at the staircase to heaven, she is looking at where she came from. And you are right, she must be protected at all costs. I pray for Angelina and her family every day.

Angelina has a loving family, and now a studio, watching over her and taking care of her. But, just in case we're needed, she has thousands of "grandparents" around the world willing and able to come to aid. Many of us have watched her grow up, and she really has a special place in our hearts. She is a special young woman.

Wonderful reaction. When the host asked Angelina if this happened in the Middle East Angelina said yes but it could have been anywhere in the world. That simple answer shows her compassion and knowledge of the poverty situation.

Great point.. it struck me the same way... The depth of her awareness is stunning and inspirational... There is hope for todays children... Obviously, it's grown and fostered at home... Not a guarantee, but one strong foundation upon which to build..

7 years ago a video showed up in my youtube page randomly. It was the barefoot angel singing "bang bang." I fell in love with that voice. Not long after I found the shoe story. To say this girl holds my heart is an understatement.

When I first read her book, I was just floored! It felt almost as if I had the wind knocked out of me. The profound thoughts she expressed at 6 years old are just mind boggling. She is without doubt the most beautiful soul I have ever experienced in my life.

so humble so polite so tslented snd appreciative and always talks about being blessed. when angelina travels she visits cultural centers and museums. an excellent student and skipped 6th grade. mother teaches at the japanese school in oslo and grandmother has a masters in psychology in addition to being a child prodigy at 9 - painter artist poet and author...angelina has inherited all these traits...

She has indeed been declared a National Treasure by the Norwegian population and heads of government after she won Norway's Got Talent. The book she wrote at 9 yrs old is beautiful and made her the youngest published author in Norway's history. From the mouths of babes...

And she was 6 when she did this, wrote this, and committed herself to the path of a humble barefoot angel. While I do not believe in reincarnation, I do believe that she was given such an inspiration. She wrote that her heart was opened up and filled with lots of light. She then climbed the stairs that opened from her heart up to her from heaven. I know where Angelina's inspiration comes from because she just told us. Several times in the intervening years, she has said that when she sings, she goes away to a place where the music is and that it's an endless and happy place.

When you watch Norway's Got Talent and see her audition you will notice her mother Sara crying. She said later that at that moment she knew she was giving Angelina to the world. Her family clearly recognizes what she is and diligently watches over her. Yet even they can be seen at times with that same amazement you and fans like me have. This is not your average pop star. She is valuable whether singing or not (although l think she must sing all the time). An international treasure with a flock of Angels out there to protect this gift to the world. Well done.

Britt, you were very moved by this video and you took all of us on your trip with her. Her poise, confidence and maturity at 9 and 10 years old is remarkable and, personally, to me she is a Messenger of Love.

Keep in mind that even though Angelina is 9 years old in the interview - she was reading a diary entry she wrote when she was only 6 years old - amazing writing skill for that age.

Is there such a thing as a "Perfect human being"? I think we've found her.

Thanks for taking the time to share this mesmerizing interview with Angelina & a shortened version of her cover of Unchained Melody (made famous by The Righteous Brothers in the mid 1960's). To hear a young girl be able to express her deep feelings & angelic thoughts much better than most adults is truly remarkable & a real blessing for us listeners. Always look forward to your Angelina reactions. Highly recommend one of Angelina's original songs - Million Miles - which she wrote & performed as a tribute to her late grandfather (& it was her 1st release with Republic records after signing with them at age 14.) There are several versions available: animated lyrics, music video & live in studio. I believe the live in studio is the best.Thank you. And may GOD continue to watch over & bless Angelina Jordan.

Thank you, Greg. Angelina performed Million Miles during her concerts in Norway last summer. She slowed it down and extended that last belt, which surprised and blew everyone away who were there. Britt, when you said, “She needs to be protected at all costs.” it made me smile because I have uttered that exact same sentence, word-for-word, several times. I believe that Angelina is a gift to mankind from God and to be on earth at this time, during all of the geopolitical craziness going in the world to spread peace, love and joy through her music. When feel the profound affect of Angelina’s voice connect to our hearts and souls I say that’s God speaking to us through his angel, Angelina.

Angelina was 9 in this interview just after the release of her book. But the thing that amazes me the most, was she was reading her beautiful cursive handwriting that she wrote when she was 6. She talked to the girl in Farsi, which she learned from her Iranian Artist/Poet grandma, Mery Zamini, who also illustrated the book. I don't believe in reincarnation, but I sure believe in prodigy children & Angelina hit the jackpot with genetics & an extraordinary nurturing family with the financial means to provide everything she needed. Imagine if Angelina was the poor girl with no parents or shoes. I shutter to think about it!

This interview video has always been one of the sweetest moments of Angelina's public appearances, her naturalness, her shyness, her adorable convictions, are a kind of manifesto of human beauty, at only 9 she already had ideas precise about what she wanted and about her positions as an empathic child. It's always a pleasure to see her again and even Unchained Melody's version of her is simply magical. Plus her book from her diaries is just adorable.💛🧡❤

Yes, we would have heaven on Earth if every child was brought up like Angelina.

It gets me every time when I hear her, as a child herself, say, "I care very much about children"! That's an amazing statement of empathy, awareness, understanding, and compassion coming from a 9-year old who is typically in the "Me, Myself, and I" stage of life.

Nice comments, Britt. Her comment about a vision of a stairway to heaven (4:20 in the video) was on page 27 of the book, with a beautiful illustration that I scanned for the Community tab of my channel. Angelina was six years old when she wrote those words in her diary. She was in Tehran, Iran with her grandmother.

Your reaction to the interview and also the song was similar to most who see it for the first time. I saw it two years ago and it brought tears to my eyes, especially when she read from her diary. I could not believe what I was hearing from a 9-year-old, and to this day it still brings a tear to my eye when I hear it. Britt, I have messaged you a couple of times about supporting the artist, in this case Angelina. It is not only the experience of giving away her shoes that touches people. When Angelina was seven, she stated that her lifelong goal was to sing for the world to spread love and peace. I believe that wholeheartedly. Angelina deserves all the help and promotion that we can give her as the world now needs what she brings. Please help boost her algorithm on KZread by providing links to her original videos (thank you) and official channels, and watching till the end, liking, commenting, sharing, and subscribing to her channels. Love this interview and your reaction to it! I don’t think I truly realized how remarkable she is until I came across this interview and realized she was keeping a journal and recording such inspiring remarks prior to Norway’s Got Talent. What 6 or 7 year old does that? She has been blessed and her voice gives her the platform to share that with us.

Well worth watching, especially due to the interview... However she sang this song again when she was 11 or 12 that is much improved. Mostly due to the new skills she developed between the 2 performances.

She's great writing skills at a very early Age. The Story is unbelievable beautiful written. How she was able to write this as a young child with so much passion for others 🙂 I am happy to got one of the last hardcopies. A beautiful Artwork with the illustration of her grandma. It's also available in English as an ebook on her website. A must have for all Fans to understand her amazing songwriter skills ✌️I am sure we will well surprised with her new Album. Great reaction Britt. What a gift of a child. One that not only expresses thru music but that also shows you through an act. Angelina is singing about a love story spiritual in content. At the end of the song she looks up as if she was communicating. There is so much innocence in her.

Try singing this song! Really! This is just one more extremely difficult songs she tackles. That feeling of "She has to be protected" is the hand of God! It's that overwhelming feeling we all get, because we all agree, yet are uncomfortable saying "She is"! I have no doubt, history & her will be written! What that is I don't know? Britt, this video was a great way to begin my KZread day. I have enjoyed your reactions to Angelina so much, I had to make the donation to have you watch this interview from when she was 9 years old. Her diary entry was written, obviously, right after the encounter when she was 6 years old. We are truly blessed to be alive at the same time as Angelina Jordan Astar. Hard to imagine you don't know "Unchained Melody". You absolutely need to react to the most popular version by the Righteous Brothers as any reaction to that gets mega views (do a search and see for yourself). Angelina sang it again a few years later and of course improved and sang the entire song. I get more emotional listening to this version, probably due to the connection with the interview. Awhile back, Angelina's team told her angels (fans) through her fan clubs that they believed reaction videos were hurting her KZread analytics. Certainly if we spend time watching reactions, then we can't spend as much time watching the original videos. We enjoy reaction videos and have suggested reactors always encourage viewers to use the link provided to watch, like and comment on the original video. This way both the artist and the reactor win. Talking to an audience in Norwegian (her 1st language) as the youngest ever published author in her country, regarding a book she wrote about a conversation in Farsi (her 2nd language) she had with a girl in the middle east and then singing a song in English (her 3rd language) - it's indeed not a common thing to do for a girl at age 9.

@@JockeSwedenGeek I remember her TV interview in late 2014 where she mixed some Swedish terms into her answers so the TV host had to translate them into Norwegian. Interesting detail, apparently they were visiting her paternal grandparents during the Christmas holidays. I didn't know that both languages are so different, I got the impression that speakers of both sides can at least understand each other. I also remember short interviews on Swedish television, as well as a charity gala in Stockholm, where the host asked his questions in Swedish and Angelina answered in Norwegian.

Notice how she answers the question about giving the girl her shoes. She doesn’t make some virtue signaling proclamation. The interviewer has to almost pull it out of her. She has to whisper it to the host three times to be understood. She’s just so humble beyond belief. At 9. And six when she had the encounter. I’m so grateful her family has protected her the way they have. She is a rare jewel to be sure.

Contemplate that the words you read were written after returning to where she was staying after meeting the girl in the street. They talked for around an hour in the cold while her mother and grandmother waited for her. The words were written by a six year old. Buy her book. I cried while reading and still do at age eighty.

It is often mentioned how deep, insightful and - yes - beyond her years her thoughts were at such a very young age. What keeps baffling me is the fact that everyone seems to take it for granted that a 6 year old would WRITE her own thoughts in her own diary. I remember that she reported (in another TV interview) that she stepped on that bathroom scale several times to make the girl feel better and that she took off her shoes to keep the scale clean.

How come no one is talking about the opra flair in this song? AJ's vibrato is money 💰 ✌🛥

Grandmother. For a lot of this report, her wisdom into her her grandma was a Prodigy Celso, famous artist and Port around the world. She taught Angelina Jordan, how to give what she has feathers I don’t have, and she introduced her to jazz.
