Indeed her vocals were mostly straight tone without vocal fry or runs. I think this was, for her, a practice song for clean belting. She obviously has a soft spot for Queen too after her winning performance of Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT.

What she manages to do, combining her beautiful voice, her passion and her sensitivity, is absolutely unreal. The ability that this girl has to connect emotionally with the song and with the listener is unique (and here she is doing it with a simple recorded backing track, where she cannot impose the slowed down tempo on her). Her acting linearity leaning on her unique talent makes every interpretation of her memorable, for me it is impossible not to love this concentration of humility, simplicity, candor, sympathy and talent. The staying power she has over us is the power of love. When we see her performing live or on our cell phone or desktop our head has been programmed to "get ready" to listen to her. When she begins to sing our heart takes over. Wherever we are, when she finishes the song, we have to linger for a moment or two to gather ourselves as we slip out of her space. May I ask a rhetorical question? "How often does this occur?" "Everyday!"

@@RobertDeMartin Right Robert and the incredible thing with her is that you never learn... normally in life, when you learn something new you automatically increase your level of knowledge and therefore also of "adaptation", but with Angelina this mechanism doesn't work, it amazes and moves you the first time, but the next time it happens again and then again! It's impossible to defend yourself against her.

Now that you have "met" Freddie Mercury and Queen you can get the Spirit she's honoring. Wide open it is! I look forward to seeing you react to Queen some more .. I can't imagine seeing them once will satisfy you! Freddie is unique and thoroughly brilliant. He can leave you satiated and yet still wanting more ... I'm so sorry we lost him but he certainly left us with A LOT of extraordinarily powerful music. The connection within that group of musicians is so rich. As you continue exploring Angelina you'll find yourself saying over and over that you've never heard that part of Angelina. She so honors whoever she covers that she is sometimes more "them" than she is 'herself'. But as she gets older Angelina most definitively shines through. I'm so so so so glad you're with us Britt! I love it when she belts for those long periods of time. So far, the longest one with the most power exerted that I've witnessed is when she sings "I'd Rather Go Blind with that 16-second belt!

Great reaction Britt. The mask is a tribute to Freddie's last concert were his face was bandaged up, for he was dieing. The black Angelina wore and the fade to black at the end was for paying respect to him and that the show must go on. The age she is here (13) she has already mastered over 10 genre’s of music. The painting behind her is another one of her grandma Mery's paintings. 👍❤❤

She also did Bohemian rhapsody by queen. Most viewed performance ever on America's got talent. Queen actually gave her the rights to her version.

Britt you should react to both Queen and Angelina singing Bohemian Rapsardy . Loving your channel . Queen didn't have a lot of # 1 songs but they were a # 1 band that sold out stadiums every night of their concerts. Wish I had seen them when they came to America in 1977 . Lost my chance with Freddie. 😭

I like your reviews, but I’m surprised when you’re surprised by Angelina taking on a different style or genre. She IS the girl with a thousand voices-and she is musically fearless. Yes, like Bohemian Rhapsody, this is another semi-autobiographical song that Queen’s Freddie Mercury completely owned. He was one of the most iconic voices and personalities in modern rock music. Angelina gives it her own treatment, but the homage to Freddie is in the power she delivers here. You just watched Angelina give you a version of Adele’s iconic Easy On Me that you liked better than the original. As great as Adele is, she doesn’t have the vocal tools Angelina so effortlessly can summon up. I don’t think any singer does. She can handle so many styles so authentically, but originally. She’s truly once in a lifetime.

If you haven't caught the performance at Kork of her cover of "Its a Man's World" you are in for a treat...not that virtually everything she sings isn't... But it is one of those while not a great recording it is mind blowing what she can do with that voice...

How about "Disco" now? Try Angelina singing "I will survive" at age 10... incredible!!!

The backing track is the karaoke version. And her voice is certainly her strength. And we have all heard her with and without accompaniment including the incredible jazz bands. She did a bunch of covers with karaoke tracks. Of course she blows the track away. 😂

Angelina's cover is comparable to Freddie's vocal, of course, with her twist. The song itself marked Freddie's final farewell. One of his last gifts as he was dying of AIDs. Brian May wrote the song in May 1991 and the final track of their album Innuendo. May feared his bandmate would be too ill to record the vocals, but Freddie nailed it in one take. "The show must go on" is a phrase in show business, meaning that regardless of what happens, whatever show has been planned still has to be staged and presented for the fans.

Beatles might have modernised boy bands but Freddie Mercury and David Bowie inspired the musicians and changed music presentation forever. They took rock from singing a couple of song sets to putting on shows that took music from bars and halls to arenas.

Actually, Brian May wrote this song, with help from a couple of other members of the band, as a tribute to Freddie as he kept performing through thick and thin, heartache and pain in the last days of his life. He died shortly after this song was released. As usual, AJ’s tribute to Freddie was a work of art. Sensitive and grand at the same time just like the man she was paying tribute to.

Another versatile performance from the amazing Angelina.

She took on the most iconic when she dared do BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY when she was 13 (150 MILLION views btw) She's not doing just herself .. she's honoring Freddie Prince. When she did BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY Queen contacted her after putting the tape of her performance on their page and they told her she was welcome to do any of their songs anytime. They really loved her version! She has others that I can't find in my brain right now ..

Freddie wrote this as he neared the end of his battle with AIDS. Listen to the lyrics again with that in mind. Angelina does not shrink away from any challenge. Also, the mask is a nod to the official Queen video.

Bohemian Rhapsody, and The Show Must Go On, are iconic from Queen when was the last time you experienced a vocalist take these on and make them better that they have ever been done?

Very nice reaction: important that this was a tribute (to Freddie Mercury of course)... as in all her tributes (I think) she wears black and the final belt had a protracted fade to black.... Her tributes videos are amazing and many reactors miss the subtleties.

Her creativity ruled here.. the song pretty much describes an artist who, despite of not feeling like performing, they put on the mask and hide their feelings, and"do the show"... She sticks to her artistic side with her mask, very similar to the design of that great suit she wore on AGT.. Probably paper mache...... Underscoring yet AGAIN, that EXCELLENCE IS IN THE DETAILS, and Angelina covers each one, producing a performance that reveals yet another side of her vocal capabilities.. as always, insightful comments from you come as no surprise... In fact the remaining bandmembers of Queen were very impressed by Angelina's cover of 'Bohemian Rapsody' she did in AGT 3 years ago. So much so that they did put it on their social media.

The mask: we all go around with a mask on as to not show what we are really feeling, the show must go on. The mask is ART work from AJ's grandmother, Mery Zamani, and she was a child prodigy, and is famous artist, the painting behind AJ is one of Mery's, and has been a major force in AJ's upbringing. Here again, we watch as AJ takes on a very heavy load, and like all the other times she performs it far, far better than the original, she gives every word meaning like no one else could.

Queen before Freddy Mercury passed away was an iconic group, their musical catalog is deep. Freddy mercury had one of the most recognizable rock voices ever, he was a classically trained singer and pianist I believe. And the other song you were thinking about is Bohemian Rhapsody

It's isolated vocals for a demo recording so, it's like everyone else stopped, while she continued performing. It's not the case, it just sounds that way and what she's doing is extremely difficult.

You are absolutely one of my co-reactors to Angellina. In my mind you have all the right reactions, perceptions and emotions...according to mine. But....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hear this. You are missing out on one of her greatest gifts.........Her ability to style a song a la Angelina and knock it out of the park. As a boomer i am also shocked at how many of her performances you react to that begin with "I never heard the original....but no problem."......There is a huge problem.. As before mentioned.............you are missing out on reacting to an integral part of what makes Angelina a SPECIAL talent...........and a SPECIAL being/person/human beyond her voice. So please, next time, for me, when you are going to react to her singing a cover to a classic...........Please listen first to the classic and then you will know what i mean. Love and only Love.

Please do yourself and us a favor. Watch the movie Bohemian Rhapsody that came out about 3 years ago. It covered the life of lead singer Freddy Mercury and the band, Queen. I was never a huge Queen fan, but appreciated their collective talent. After Angelina covered B R and this song I watched the movie and was greatly impressed. Freddy was dying of AIDS and this song is about that.

The surviving members of Queen, so someone wrote, saw this a few year later after AGT. Dr. Brian May, so it was said, invited her, to sing on their stage, should they ever meet at a concert. There were a lot of great British Rock groups but Freddie Mercury and David Bowie changed rock music. They didn't play songs they put on shows which led to the birth of music videos. Now if Angelina would just cover some Bowie lol.
