I think it was an acrobatic dance group from India called V-Unbeatable. A lot of big boys throwing around little boys in death-defying tricks.

Something you said is what I feel about Angelina. I have listened to some of her songs hundreds of times, but I still react emotionally and even physically when I hear her singing those songs. She has an absolutely unique ability to connect with each of us as individuals. We understand every word of the lyrics, even as we’re also immersed in that effortless musicality of her voice. I listen to Angelina everyday, and I’ve never even considered doing that with any other singer.

I don't know what it is but there is something golden era Hollywood to Angelina's voice. That was a time of many great female singers. All I know is that Angelina is the only singer of this high caliber. No one is even close.

Angelina has this effect, the more you listen to it the more you like it. I have two songs above all that have grown over time listening to them "Bille Jean" and the original "Million Miles".

As far as we know, his collaboration with Republic Records allows him to reconcile his passion and his studies, which was a "sine qua non" condition for his family. Moreover, she found in this record company the musical and human environment that suited her.

No matter how many times you experience these three performances, it is like you are hearing them for the first time, and your emotions are out of control. You are being taken down a path of fantasy that you see as utopia, Angelina Jordan.

Beautiful, the reaction and also your awareness of the change in rating due to the greater knowledge of the background of our princess, Britt. Her wonderful family, only her father was missing, and imagine their emotion, not only of Angelina, but of her own family, which has always supported her, up to deciding to leave Norway to allow Angelina to follow her dream . Appearing in front of Simon was the dream of the three-year-old girl who watched the talent shows and the thirteen-year-old not only got it, but was also able to enchant him and the whole audience, no mean feat for a teenager. In other longer videos, in which the confirmation with the Golden Buzzer given by Heidi also appears, you can see the emotion that her whole family shows, they are exciting. Angelina's whole journey in AGTC was like an explosion of wonderful talent, which allowed her to be much better known than before her.💛 🧡 ❤

Her vocals is off the charts. One need to be completely deaf on both ears if her immense talent is not recognized. She was 13 or 14 years old here, and has now turned 17. Waiting for her album to be released this year. Love your reactions to her! And you are a very good singer yourself actually!

Agree Steinar. Her vocal talents and music genius is unmatched in my opinion. Funny you should mention the "deaf in both ears". Just watched a new reactor to Angelina, he reacted to "suspicious minds" (Machias Music Man goes by), liked the song but made the comment that she has done nothing new and sounds like most of the new singers he has heard. So actually those people, like him, do exist and have no real understanding of what a true vocalist is. Does not matter, we all know.

She was 13 for her fist performance and she got the Golden Buzzer to automatically pass to the finals. That was recorded in the fall, the finals were recorded after her birthday (January 10), when she was 14. In order to win you have to sign a recording contract with the producers of the show (mainly Simon Cowell). She didn’t sign, but later signed with Republic Records - which was far better for Angelina. As much as I didn’t like a circus tumbling act winning over the best singer in the world, I admit that was for the best.

Now that you have gotten over that first amazement, you are able to anticpate what she is going to do and hear the beautiful, subtle nuances that were overwhelmed the fist time you heard her sing a song. Don't worry it never gets old. She can bring tears to my eyes the 100th time I hear her sing a song.

I's impossible to take in all the detail of these performances on first hearing them. One thing is clear, you got to hear the lyrics, understand the stories - that's what Angelina gives us. There are so many more performances for you to react to, and we are expecting more songs to be coming out soon. I'm looking forward to enjoying more AJ reactions from you - in for the long haul...

Just so her super fans are aware. She put out a video on tiktok yesterday, she asked in the caption, who we think she should feature with. As in Rhianna feat. Mikky Ekko 'Stay'. So like a duet, but for more one person and their album. A bit of an awesome pre album drop exposure and momentum idea for her IMO, even if it is just hypothetical, or wouldn't be done and out before her album. Most didn't understand the question and are requesting covers. Get someone in mind and give her your take. We should encourage fan interaction by making it go well. 😊

You're one of the few who catch that. Only seen one or two who picked it up the first time. When you react to Bohemian Rhapsody take notice during her performance they highlight audience members in the front row. That is Angelina's Family. From left to right Her uncle and manager Michael Astar, her little sister Juliette, her mother Sarah Astar and her grandmother Mery Zamani. Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts and later her mother wipe tears from her eyes and again Juliette crossing her fingers again before Howie's remarks. Also remember she said she had waited 10 years to sing for Simon. When she was 3 years old she was begging her mother to go on 'that Simon show'. ♥👣👸🏻🎷

She had already 'lost' here. But certainly, of anyone here or in life even she really won. Exposure in America, experience performing unbelievably under real pressure. Massive time for her. I don't tear up like most Angels, but like you, sometimes I get a bit blindsided by pride along with the performance and have to stop myself. She signed with Republic not long after. A lot of us speculate that she only lost because she had already won metaphorically, so she just didn't need it like the others.

Everytime I hear her performance, I cry.

Hi Britt and thanks for that awesome reaction to 13 Angelina. Angie was really hoping she would win, but she and her family weren't going to sign with Simon's group. Plus they were looking for a Las Vegas act and Angie is not that. Plus this was all prerecorded in Oct and November of 2019 , also her 2nd grandpa died during that time. Angie had a big portion of the views when it showed on TV in January 2020. Angie got 6th overall. The top 5 all had signed with Simon's group and the winner was an acrobat team, which was perfect for Las Vegas. Angie got what she came for and that was the American audience. IMOP, I think they knew Angie might win this if the fans did the voting like normal, so they made up a story to say the 50 super fans and if they like her than she could win. Yea right. How could they let someone win that didn't sign. They had to save face some how. God bless you sweetie 🙏 ❤

Britt, some of us have heard this well over a thousand times and, you know what? We still get emotion every time, particularly when we see a reactor listen to this for the first time. We are so happy for them, as we were for you, that you discovered her. Note: She didn't win the Show but, of course EVERYONE knew she won the show. Politics involved even in the music industry. Without going into detail suffice to say she wouldn't sign with AGT and that eliminated her from winning. Britt, the third performance was an 'extra' performance and had nothing to do with the outcome to decide the winner. All 3 people were fantastic and this performance took everyone by surprise and literally "Stole the Show" !!

Going into detail....she DID sign with AGT. As Uncle Mike confirms in his interview with Music Norway: “Some time passed and they again contacted me, asking if she wanted to sing on their show. I convinced them to give me a contract where Angelina is free from any deal if she performs..."

No, it seems to me that Angelina only came fifth on American Got Talent. But perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. Anyway, her family did not want to sign a contract with this show and a year later she signed with Republic Records.

They tried a number of times to get Angelina back on. AGT would not meet families’ demands the year prior. This year, AGT had to settle with “No Simon contract” with Angelina. They were snubbed. There was no way they would let her win! Just my opinion.(Howie was already informed) She arranged and chose her first two songs. AGT picked the collaborative song. 🌸

It's very fulfilling to see you getting the whole story on Angelina and why we care so much about her. You're becoming one of her angels. She did not win. The winner is selected by a member from each state. There are stories of her team not wanting to sign a contract with Simon's company if she would win. So that may have also had something to do with it. Simon did thank her in his comments for bringing so much to the competition and making it better. He genuinely appreciated her. In any case, it was a good decision because she got the exposure she needed and ended up signing with Republic Records, a division of UMG, under the condition that Angelina would have total control of all musical decisions. Republic made Angelina their highest priority and are working with her to create her first album. They are waiting for her to graduate from school this year before doing any promotion. Everyone is waiting to see and hear what she's been working on. She's happiest creating in the studio. We are happy for her. Stay tuned. Maybe this summer.

Angelina didn't even get into the final five. It has been speculated that Angelina's 'Yellow Brick Road' performance was her farewell commentary on AGT. I think the winners were an acrobatics dance act.

As I recall, Britt, you didn't have headphones for the previous reactions. I'm interested to know how much better Angelina sounds with headphones. I cry already at so many of her performances, I'm afraid I couldn't handle any more!

Angelina didn't win, neither did Marcelito (the only other singer in the finals among 10 participants). The winner was a gymnastic act from India, runner up was a trapeze duo. AGT The Champions is a talent show and not a good place for singers. The first season was won by a card magician, runner up was a ventriloquist. Angelina was the only singer to get the Golden Buzzer (each judge could only give one for the whole season), the other three where awarded to dance acts. Some even doubt that this show was a real competition - more of an event planned from start to finish. It could even be that the result was known beforehand and the participants also knew it. Some also believe if the 50 "superfans" who were "judges" in the finals take down her masks Simons face would appear every time. Other angels will explain why Angelina won nevertheless ...

No she didn't win a magic person won. But in my book she was already way better than AGT at this point in her life . They were blessed to have her on their show. She really didn't need them for a second time that's what scares me because of all the music companies and other singers try to influencing her down a wrong path. Ok I might have been wrong but it makes no difference she was better than the show plus I did hear that Simon wanted her and she said no. I'm very glad she did because she is already on the wright path. I'm afraid if music companies and other singers get a hold of her they would ruin her and put down the wrong path making sing music their way and not her own. In my book they have already hurt a lot singers careers because of this. Yes they sound great but it doesn't fit the voice they have. Plus they use to much technology , dance , lights, to cover up , their voices. God bless

Does not matter, that show merely a stepping stone for this incredible talent. What's a "super fan" anyway? AGT just a hyped show with some talent on it but mostly a competition "reality" nonsense show with no real value. Has been some real talent that came from it but very rarely. Angelina looking in the rear view mirror at AGT.

Britt, I was told, he was very sick, he had no money for the industry, the US calls healthcare. He played his violin on the streets, to gather money. In School they mobbed him, but he stood fast, got the money together and a TV-show noticed him and payed the rest, including this violin and two others for his outstanding courage. Also if you pay attention to the lyrics of the yellow brick road it seems that song was chosen as a message to Simon part of the first strofe says: You know you can't hold me forever I didn't sign up with you I'm not a present for your friends to open - it seems even the one who was editing the video had an idea this was a message to Simon because after the line I did not sign up with you the video focuses on Simon.

Awesome reaction and the family wouldn't sign any of the contracts because mom wasn't ready for her to go to Main Stream. She didn't even make the top 5 and her "Bohemian Rhapsody" cover was immediately pulled from You Tube, supposedly for Copyright issues. Funny Queen gave her the rights to her version, but AGT has never released it back to You Tube. I think after her 1st performance the decision was not to let her advance. In an interview after her 1st performance her mom said, "She got to fulfill her childhood dream to sing for Simon. Now she has done that it's time to go home and have as much of a normal childhood as possible". It's my opinion on what I believe happened, God Bless!

Angelina wasn't in the Top 5 "Grand Finalists" of AGT: The Champions, which consisted of a trio of Russian acrobats (who were not champions but came anyway); Tyler, the violinist you saw (who was not a champion), a trapeze pairing (who were not champions); the act that eliminated Angelina in a head-to-head, novelty singer Marcelito Pomoy, who did at least meet the stated brief by winning Philippines Got Talent; and ultimate winners v.Unbeatable, a troupe of acrobats from enticingly populous India who failed to win their domestic talent quest then followed this by failing to win AGT in order to qualify. If this is insufficient to question the contest's validity, the voting was ostensibly left to 50 "superfans" - regular American TV viewers who, despite their presumably limited training in counter-espionage, have all managed to maintain a cloak of secrecy.

I don't know if this is what happened, but I saw somewhere that Simon Cowell wanted to sign her after hearing her first song, but was turned down by Angelina, so she came fifth. A year later she was signed up with Republic Records the same company that has Drake, Ariana Grande and many other top artists, so Angelina did the right thing turning his offer down. She has a good head on her young shoulders. Simon would have had her singing pop crap just to make money.

Mike There are a myriad of conspiracy theorists on YT who are convinced that the only reasonable explanation for Angelina placing 6th on AGT is because she refused to sign their contract which would restrict her career choices and musical creativity. The fact is that she DID sign with AGT. As Uncle Mike confirms in his interview with Music Norway: “Some time passed and they again contacted me, asking if she wanted to sing on their show. I think its been explained how she couldn't win because she refused to sign a contract with Simon. But what she really wanted was high exposure and got it. So she won her way.

It has ocurred to me that, because these shows aren't available to purchase after they air, that most people might not know about Simon Cowell losing it on a bunch of contestants during a Queen themed episode of...I think it was American Idol? There is an episode where he explicitly says that he hates hearing covers of Bohemian Rhapsody specifically because they're always terrible and one note. I have no doubt that Angelina knew about that and that's why she picked it as her first song to sing for Simon. It also makes his stunned reaction all the more satisfying, tbh.

A couple of comments here say she didn't win, but they don't say why, so I will. She didn't win because one of the conditions of winning is that you have to sign your career over to Simon for five years so he can exploit you. Angelina didn't want that, she wanted a longer career and she knew she didn't need to win the show to get noticed. If you listen to Howie's appraisal after her 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" performance, it's almost like he was already apologising to her because he knew she wasn't going to win.

She wasn't allowed to continue because she wouldn't/couldn't sign with Sony because they own you, and have total control over when, where, what, when and how you sing. Total control, and she just couldn't let them so totally control her career. So they cut her from the show.

Simon wanted to sign Angelina to a contract with him but she refused rumor says he didn't like it and there was some kind of fight between him and Angelina's family which made her much less happy as you can see between her first performance and the second and in my personal opinion it's also What significantly reduced her chances of winning the competition, she finished in 5th place I think but first place in our hearts that she stayed true to her path and who she is!!! 🦶🦶👑🗣🎙🎷
