This was an all Angelina video directed by her Grandma Mery, The teacher, administrators & students were all real, except the "Teacher" in the hallway with papers ripped from his hands who was her business manager, Uncle Michael. The performing kid musicians were from her after school program in Music & Performing Arts. The friend that needed cheering up was actually her best friend at the time. I've even heard that the bus was provided by the Norway Military Band, with whom she recorded her 1st album, "It's Magic." Apparently she is well loved by all around her, how could you not?

Hi Britt 👋. Sara herself said that Angelina chooses all her own songs 🎵 and does all her own arrangements. When she asks what they think, they give their opinion. Angie is and always has been in charge from beginning to end. Her grandma filmed it, her uncle Michael was the adult who had the papers grabbed from and tossed near beginning. In 2014, Sara and Michael started Astar productions for 8 yr Angelina with her label and brand Angelina Jordan Inc. Sara was hoping she would be a nice normal kid, but the good Lord has other plans. The other adults and children in the video are her teachers and classmates from her school. In Oslo Norway. She was around 9 years old when filmed. 🙂👍❤🙏

I’m pretty sure her family would have chosen music more age appropriate music but the choices are all Angelina’s. I’m so happy they allowed her to make her own musical choices because she is not the normal child, more like an adult/child. A Gift from Yahweh. I thank him for her.

Angelina is the one choosing the music. Kudos to her family letting her do that. They have made her change the lyrics on occations to make them more age appropriate. Kind of funny, because Angelina understands the lyrics and make the changes herself… 🤔😊

With very few exceptions - Angelina chooses the songs she sings and how she wants to sing them - She has stated that when she was little that her mother wanted her to sing kid's songs but she refused.

Mery Zamani Angelina's famous artist grandma’s painting is behind her. AJ's grandmother, Mery Zamani, is a famous artist and poet and was a child prodigy and has been a major force in AJ's upbringing. There is no way you can experience Angelina Jordan without becoming very emotional. This being moves mountains. Grandma Mery spent so much time with Angelina picking songs for her to perform from Mery's past, and it is very obvious, they have this very special rapport.

I LOVE that they made this with her in it!! She was OBVIOUSLY put on earth to make people happy. The joyfulness on display here is unbelievable. Look at those (I'm guessing) Norweigian faces. Can you imagine people of Norway saying We've got a genuine international star here,... let's put her in something where she's singing, children are having fun. Let's show them Noway people. Well here it is,.. not much different than us, right? Except Norway, like Iceland has some very magical mystical landscapes. It's actually a very provincial place where some fairly modern people are living. Angelina sort of brings all of that together.

I think she has called the shots, since coming out.. Always being the director of her music. :)

Her musicality is center stage here, she borders doing "SCAT" singing the lyrics... Like you, the sound track reminds me of Mardi Gras when the horns take over!! I'm trying to find who's track this is!! FYI, there's an AGT pre-performance interview (that ISN'T cut down) where she spoke of her love for jazz... She says her Mom wanted her to "sing songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and I said, NO." She goes on to explain she heard jazz because Grandma used to play it around the house.. She states "I became obsessed with it, I just couldn't get enough"... YAY for us!! 😂😉. Angelina was asked in an interview if her friends liked her music, and she said not really they like Justin Bieber, and she giggled. Lol. She is so done cute.

You have to remember that Angelina’s grandmother was a child prodigy herself in visual arts and poetry, so they knew exactly what to do to keep Angelina grounded and have a normal childhood while at the same time developing her artistry. It seems a little counterintuitive but they protected her from the vultures of the music industry and at the same time she toured the world, and some of her best friends in the music industry were people like Quincy Jones, you can’t go wrong with friends like that.

After she won NGT she went back to school a star. She wanted everyone to be a star so she made this vid at her school. Her real teacher, students, family members, ect, make the vid. She made them all feel like stars in this Killer vid. Angilina brought the smiles, she is a Saint. 😎🇺🇲👍🌟💯

I read some where Angelina's class mates new nothing of her goinging to Norways Got Talant. They sure knew after she come back to school. I think they did this performance a little later for the school, and school kids, when she was about 9years old. Steve from NZ.

Notice how she went from her jeans to a white dress which is what she wore when performing and barefoot at that point.

We had Greece where classicism was born, then we had Florence where ancient Greek art, called the Renaissance, was revived and reinterpreted. Today the artistic center of the world seems to be Norway, which has just over 5 million inhabitants. Angelina, but also Aurora and others. I was talking about the Renaissance. Angelinda is doing the same by rediscovering and reviving, reinterpreting it, the epic music of the 60s of the last century, and the new album, as she stated in an interview, will have a 'retro' flavor from the 60s. I finish. I believe that this proliferation of artists in Norway is due to its exceptional education system, where each child's talent is nurtured by motivated and passionate teachers.

The rumor I heard that when she was born and she was swatted, she started singing jazz. I’m pretty sure this is a rumor as I started it myself (though others may have had the same idea :-)). But yeah this kind of music fits her like a glove. It’s a lovely cheerful tune and video and a joy to watch!

Angelina was always the "choser" of the music she sang; she drives it all. Her parents recognized very early that she was the one with the vision for her own future and provided the guard rails to help her find that path forward.

Britt, hi 👋 First of all , I'm really enjoying you championing our gal's talent on your channel. You're doing a terrific job and keep up the great work . 👏💪 Now, several Angels ( fans of Angelina) may have already mentioned this well known story that Angelina discovered jazz on the internet at a very young age (5/6 years old) and taught herself to sing . Her grandmother then cultivated the love for jazz by taking her to old record shops where they search for all the great classics . The music school they sent her to taught her breathing techniques but did not alter her unique voice . It was during this time that Angelina developed control of her vibrato . You mentioned about her parents or adults around her not pushing Angelina to sing pop songs or 'kiddy' songs at an early age , well ,that was never going to be the case as Angelina has always chosen the songs she has covered. There's even a video of her refusing to sing Christmas carols with her kindy classmates. You can see her shaking her head and frowning at hearing them sing out of tune. I would highly recommend you have a go at reacting to a favourite of mine and many Angels I suspect 'I'm a Fool to Want You '. I think from memory she is 11 /12 years old and she is in a booth recording the song with grandmother Merry videoing her. With this performance , she just totally embodies Billie Halliday and articulates jazz thru that magic microphone of hers .

Britt, do you know that her first album with Republic Records will be out end of April ? They signed her when she was 14 . Rob Christie, the Republic big boss ans Emmy winner is the Suspicious Minds video pianist, as he is also in a few other Angelina's videos. It is said that the contract she signed with Republic gives her exceptionnaly and rare power of decision. Cant wait to April !! Britt, I think you are a great communicator, very funny and expressive, you succeeded in getting me away from Angelina sometimes and watch videos of other talents. What a feat ! Angelina's Grandma Mery Zamani Directed this one, Mery also done the fly me to the moon video in the desert, and The shield video in the desert, also the Elvis tribute in the chandelier shop. and most of the hand held videos of Angelina throughout her career thus far. Very artistic lady. When most kids were out playing, Angelina was in the Jazz shop in Oslo, reading up on the american Jazz greats. There are pictures of her sitting in the Jazz shop listening and studying everything Jazz. Billie Holiday, Etta James, and Ella Fitzgerald are big influences on Her, Also more modern singers too, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston and Adele to name but a few. Britt, this is Waldorfschool Oslo with her real classmates and teachers, only the guy with the papers was her uncle Mike. The young musicians are her "classmates" from the music academy. The "sad" girl was her bestie. They all had fun. Be safe. Elmar from Germany.

Whenever I watch this video, I cry and laugh at the same time! Crying because of the sweetness, compassion and empathy Angelina displays. Laughing because of the happiness, humor, and innocent fun these wonderful young people have!

Did I ever need that. It makes a difficult life better to hear Angelina. A small break that helps reduce pain, hurt, sadness just long enough to encourage myself/yourself that it’s good to keep going.

it has been said "she was born to sing" by other reactors, in the documentary about her early years and on Norway Got Talent. But i think she instead of crying when she was born she was singing, before she learnt to speak.

I think this short film is fantastic and if I had my way, it would still have to be awarded an "Oscar" in the "Short Film" category years later. And above all folks, keep hiring him on YT and the other streaming services. And also present this film to the "Oscar" organization. AJ and Merie deserve it.

I think it was a school media project. Norway has a great arts and talent support program.

I don’t think the people around her had much choice. From what I’ve read, Angelina is the driving force on what she sings. The people around her have mainly, and very wisely, just acted as guardrails, and let her follow her heart. They mainly told her what she couldn’t sing, at least not without revision, such as Back to Black, and a few others.

A great cover of Louis Armstrong's wonderful song which was a cover of the 1928 song originally released by Seger Ellis written by Larry Shay, Mark Fisher, and Joe Goodwin. In addition to Satchmo, its been covered by many greats: Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald and recently Michael Buble.

Btw... I am pretty convinced that the "teacher" or maybe he is supposed to be the principal who comes out the door at the very end, is the same guy who is the band leader who receives Angelinas last changes on a paper in the beginning of the "I put a spell on you"-video.
