I was born in Mexico. My 3 sisters were boen here in the U.S. This country has provided oportunities for the 4 of is, that no other could. In my heart I always felt like we owed something, and one of us would have to pay that debt. So I did. I served in the US Navy for 22yrs. I served with honor and pride for me family. and today, retired, I have an 11yr old daughter, 2 nieces and a nefew. I would drop eveeything and serve another 22 for them. GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS EVERYONE READING THIS RIGHT NOW.

Thank you, for your very positive reaction to not only this song, but to the current spirit of the USA! I am an American citizen, 68 years old, a farmer, never served! But if you look back in history, the USA did NOT want to fight! At one point, it was Great Britain alone against Hitler's evil tyranny! Yes the USA did finally join the fight, as did other nations! But I can not even begin to understand the bravery of the British! If it wasn't for the Brit's , the world today, could be very different! I am glad we have a great relationship! I whole hardly respect you and thank you! But you have to admit, TODAY, the Angry American song is KICK-AS-! I LOVE THE USA , AND I LOVE THE BRIT'S

Toby never served. The "Tank Commander" certificate was a way of showing appreciation for support people show for them. The TF 1/77 AR is short for Task Force, First of the Seventy Seventh Armored Regiment. I spent 24 years in the Army Infantry and 3 tours in Iraq. In my 24 years I never once found anyone who did not love Toby, whether they were fans of country music or not. Toby was a True Blue American who loved and was proud of his country and of our military. We loved him just as much as he loved us. His passing leaves a void that cannot ever be filled not only in country music but in our country's consciousness. His patriotism was as solid as a piece of granite. RIP Brother, you will live on forever in your music

I got tasked with the escorting and back stage protection of Toby Keith and the cheerleaders. Toby was the nicest most patriotic guy I ever met. I reached out to shake hands and said “sir, I’m a huge fan it’s a honor to meet you.” He shook his head like no and said “no sir, it’s and honor to meet you- I’m just a singer and your here doing the job.” One hell of a guy! Toby Keith is an American patriot from my home state of Oklahoma! Let me tell you how much he loves his country and it’s a bit of a story but stick with me. I joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard in 2000. In 2004 my Guard unit was activated to go to Afghanistan. About six months in Toby and Ted Nugent were doing tours to raise troop morale. I was stationed at Camp Phoenix in Kabul. They were supposed to a big show in Bagram Airbase and only do a meet and greet with us. When he got off the bird at Camp Phoenix and met our Brigade Commander he saw our Thunderbird patch and realized we were his fellow Okies. He got on the horn with Bagram and told them they were gonna have to wait another day because he was spending the evening with his Okies. Some of our guys has their families ship over their guitars and amps because they’re all songwriters. We pulled a flatbed truck into the center of our base and Toby and Ted got up their under spotlights and sang all of their greatest hits including this song. After they played til nearly midnight they stayed and took pictures and signed autographs until every last one of us had one without complaint. You don’t realize just how much a simple handshake from someone who didn’t have to come and see us when we’re in the midst of the most difficult time of our lives. And I served in Afghanistan with an entire unit of Brits. The storied Green Howards stood shoulder to shoulder with us in combat. I lost 14 of my brothers in Afghanistan who I couldn’t be more proud of them for paying the ultimate price. People talk about not being able to give up their safety to serve. You’d be surprised. I was 23 in the year 2000 when I joined. I had all but about thirty credits to finish my Bachelors degree. I finished my degree but I was part of the new version of the National Guard where we deployed as often as the active duty guys. I’m a proud American Veteran and proud of the men who served on my left and my right. Thank you for tolerating my story.

He has a lot of very entertaining and funny songs that I think you would appreciate. Take a listen to "Red Solo Cup", "How Do You Like Me Know", "Trailerhood", "A Little Too Late", "An American Soldier", "As Good As I Once Was", "I Wanna Talk About Me", "Who's Your Daddy", "Beer For My Horses", just to name a few.

Toby is battling stomach cancer these days, but he’s holding on. I’ve actually spoken with him. He’s entertained our troops for years now, and I simply adore him. Anyway, his brilliant song includes so many of the US’s National symbols. He mentions old glory, our flag, the eagle, our national bird, the Liberty Bell, and The Statue of Liberty. He mentions the 4th of July when we got our independence. When he says,”Uncle Sam,” that’s our military name/code. He’s an icon. He represents all of us who came from all over. My mother was from Wales, and my father is of German descent. Let freedom ring! 😂😛👍👏🏻🙏🏻

Toby Keith has an awesome voice and is very patriotic. Check out his duo with Willie Nelson Beer for My Horses or How do You Like Me Now. That last one will give you a giggle. Really good storyline and video for both of them. He is being treated right now for stomach cancer. Your reactions are always worth watching.

I come from a family of Military Men and Women, lost my first husband in the Vietnam war with my two brothers there. My father was in the Marines and at Iwo Jima, Americans are proud of their Country and our Military families. I love this video seeing the military relaxing and enjoying the song. Glad you liked it. We are a very patriotic Country. I'm married to an Englishman now and he would sit and talk to my dad and brothers prior to them passing away.

To your statement about being angry, yet calm....Toby Keith appears to be the very epitome of a REAL MAN according to Jordan Peterson: "A harmless man is not a very good man...A Good man is a very, very Dangerous man, who has that danger under voluntary control, civilized, and disciplined...and who can use that in the service of, let's say, a family [or country:)]" Nice reaction🥰

Here's what a lot of folks around the world don't understand about America. We can have our differences and disagreements, but we are are still family. The same principle applies to your brothers and sisters. We can fight with them, but nobody else will. We are a truly free people that are superior to the government that we ALLOW to govern, but make no mistake, we are not subservient to our government.

This song helped me a lot as I could sing it and feel all the feelings I had to deal with. This song and Alan Jackson's song helped so many going through such a terrible thing.
