Since first hearing this song ive found myself addicted to watching other people react to it so i know im not the only one bawling my eyes out the whole time 😅😂

All props to Tori for her pipes and feel, but what’s more incredible is that in a video Jacob posted, he was actually coming up with the idea for some of those runs she’s doing. The fact that she was able to deliver requested runs is just insane.

The first voice is Yebba from a recording a few years ago, which he later harmonised. Her original KZread video cut out on her last couple of notes. Jacob extended the entire arrangement and brought in John Legend and Tori Kelly. You need to see the rehearsal video short with Tori and relax watching Jacob's Logic Breakdown of the song. Absolutely massive❤😊

The entire song is epic, but that is one of the best endings to any song I have ever heard.

Jacob even showed restraint here - instead of the usual 600-700 tracs, for this masterpiece he only needed 136 or so (he has a video up about him detailing all of it).

What a perfect reaction. Jacob Collier. What it must be like to live in that head? To hear all that music - does he ever get rest, with all that…the endless musical possibilities all roiling about in one little human head? How does he function like a mere human? Anyway, this was magnificent, awe-inspiring, absolutely stunning…a real marvel of what a genius and monster talent can accomplish together. And yes, I feel like useless crap after listening to all that jaw-dropping talent in one place. If Jacob Collier was an athlete, he would be running 100m in 1 second. People need to understand that this is the greatest musical mind alive today, and possibly alive ever. There is literally nobody else in the world who can do what JC can do. We throw around the term genius. But that doesn't even come close to what Jacob is. We haven't invented an appropriate superlative yet.

I agree. It can be a little too easy to put someone in the lofty territory of the all-time greats, but on so many different levels, Jacob not only excels, but inspires and touches hearts and blows minds through his music. And he's such a joyful and humble guy on top of all that. A genuine musical master and it's such a joy to be on the planet with him as he creates and we get to listen and be in awe and gratitude.
