Bts has definitely paved the way for younger kpop artists thier Ceo bang pd has said that as well and a few other kpop artists have said bys paved the way for them as well. These guys are absolutely incredible can't wait till yall do the guide to the 7 members of bangtan as well you'll get to see individual members and get to know them as well. This song even tho there are different interpretations to it this more gravitate to the fake love they get also from media and people in power as well.

There's no wrong way to interpret this, even if it's "not what they intended." As with most BTS songs, they start with a concept and then group input comes in to inform the final product with different viewpoints. The rappers in particular often have their own personalized take on the topic which comes through in the verses they write -- which means that the song can be interpreted often in several different ways. And really, the topic is MEANT to be examined in several different ways. Which is why I think so many people get into their lyrics because it's almost an exploratory philosophy class on its own. BUT it should be noted that this is part of the BTS Universe story line. Which means there are a gajillion layers of symbolism. 🙃 When I first watched this, I didn't know it was part of that storyline and was already impressed. When I realized what all those symbols really meant it freaking destroyed me for a few days. The first video in the series is for the song I Need U (+19 version). The visuals are WAY more important than the lyrics of that song for understanding the story. Partially because the original intention of the song was changed to sing about a romantic relationship instead of a friendship. Anyway you'll practically need to start a murder board to keep it all straight. There is also a webtoon, short films, and (if you want) books. Some people kinda cheat when it gets to the book part and just read summaries other ARMYs have made online. People will try to spoil the BIG REVEAL for you, so if you want to deep dive on your own without spoilers, you'll need to tell people and still expect they will put those in the comments. If you continue on with the storyline, the second video in the series is called On Stage Prologue and is a short film. *Note the original ending for that has been edited out for...mysterious reasons.... So if you want to see the original ending (which came after the credits stopped rolling) you'll need to specifically search for it on KZread. And subsequently say, "Wait, what?!?"

This is a STUNNING video to say the least. I'll have to go back and read the translated lyrics in an attempt to better understand what the the underlying meaning(s) are. BTS at times uses a lot of symbolism in their videos and this is certainly one to those. It's a beautiful video to watch. The production and mixing is top notch. It is to me cinematic. Great reaction. Take care.

This song and music video comes midway point in their fictional storyline that runs through their albums and music videos everything in this either relate specifically to this song and the story they're trying to tell or and it relates to previous music videos and short films from their fictional storyline. The fictional storyline began roughly in the year 2015 with the song and music video titled I Need You end the fictional storyline each member plays an alternate version of himself, and they have a unified story and individual stories. The storyline also combines music videos short films highlight reels notes books and even a video game!

Hi there! First of a disclamer: It's how I see the folowing things. How I interpret them in my joureny to self love. The break you mentioned could mean the folowing: Sand and petals/ash in wind: time moves on, live for tomorrow not yesterday. Water through wents: washing away your bad habits in an gentel maner. Fire explosion: Burning away your fake personalitiy which was to apeal to others, or be viewed in a certain way, but ultmetly is not your true self. Pathway trough waterfall: Movin on, not runing away from yourself and confronting your true self and exploring who you are. Again it's my view of things. Still I'm happy that more people are willing to get to know our boys! Like other comments said bevore: there is no bad way of interpreting the lyrics. No wrong way. Everybody is different and sees thing in a different way. So have fun and enjoy new things in your oun way and pace. As long as your are genuien, ARMY will help you and go with you on that jounrey through the very big rabbit hole know as BTS. Sorry for the long comment 💜💜💜

The importance of 'Self love' of not losing yourself to fit another person's concept of what they want, expect need you to be under the pretence of love. It's not love it's fake love when in any kind of relationship when one party is being changed into someone they are not to please the other party. The line 'Make me your Doll' I find very important. I have worked with people who have been in that kind of situation where one partner has slowly peeled away the very character of the other person and bascially turned them into a living doll. The other person then is no longer themselves not happy told to be be happy told they are not the same person. Well of course they've not you've moulded them into a fake new person who is like a mindless doll doing, saying, even wearing what you demand of them. The person has become 'lost' because it's all fake love. Your love for them isn't really love it never was it was fake so you could control that person. The person you now say is not the same person also is a lost person caught up in this fake personna you created for them, where they are no real and true to themselves. Because of this they don't even love themselves so how can they love you. Learn to know yourself, accept yourself and love your self. Self love over fake love. Fake love were you've been pressed into a mould by another is not love it' Fake Love.

I see it a little different: the singer changes themselves to be perfect for their own idea of perfect love. The other person never has the chance to meet the real person and falls for an illusion that the singer created. But because the singer changed "everything" they also don't know themselves anymore. That hurts and over time the hurt outweights the happiness of the relationship (it does not even need to be a romantic one; it works with all types of relationships even family and friends) and in the end destroys it. That is also why the singer makes an apology: They have never given the other the chance to know the real self of the singer. Since Jin is the MC he is also the one in "Epiphany" that comes to the conclusion that he should have valued his imperfect self more. We have in the background Jin's BU character that tried to impress a girl he met by giving her what she wrote about in her diary (Love yourself Highlight Reel). BTS is not warning about a toxic partner: they are warning about the pretense to create the seemingly "perfect" love of wishful thinking by never showing your true self/likes/dislikes: Over time it is destructive and you will also confuse the hell out of the person you try to create a relationship with. Because you literay lied to them even when you didn't mean to. This grows out of the idea that we have how "perfect" love is and should be - an overromantication that is actually unhealthy for everyone involved. The singer feels helpless and clings to the toxic love they created even trying to give the other person complete control but that only makes it worse. In this song we go from "I don't know why" to the "I do know why" because the singer finally accepts how unhealthy the realtionship they built is. (Outro: Her and "Intro: Singularity" respectivly hold the first doubt and the second already holds the awarness of what is wrong but also the refusal to deal with it while knowing they can't hide from the truth forever) 💜

Hello, as you have noticed, they have a great variety of songs, of different genres and lyrics: From light ones dedicated to ARMY or to lift your spirits to deep ones that talk about social issues, mental health, Carl Jung's psychological theories, even heated responses to haters As are the mic drop, the cyphers (there are 4 songs by the 3 rappers).... I particularly prefer their songs in Korean than the few they have in English, which they released in the pandemic to lift their spirits of Army. Still I like them too, they are: Dynamite, permission to dance, butter. To mention other songs: House of cards, the truth untold (of these two I recommend the remix of the live versions) Film out, "Blood, sweat and tears". "Run", "Run BTS", "fire" "dope", "Save me" And individual or subgroup songs *RM (Rapper and leader named: Kim Namjoon, before rap Monster now RM for real me): songs from his last album indigo, I like all of them but there is one that I always change/miswrite the name "flowerwork" (sorry ARMY/it's the fan base can correct me) some old ones like "do You", "Monster", "Joke" (the whole song is a joke to show that he have rap techniques to the haters, they criticized them for being Idols and leave the world unthergraung, and That in addition to making great and deep lyrics, he can also be like them and rap fast just for speed. I don't know if i explain well, Sorry for my English ) *Suga (Rapper / Min Yoongi / AgustD): He released his last album: "Amygdala", "Haeguem" These Two are a trilogy Along with "Deachweta" (It's from a previous job, And it has Korean cultural references, which if you want to know you can see after the original mv, (Whether in private or in public) an explanatory video, there are many excellent youtubers/ Armys, but I like Dkdktv channel because they are Korean who explain the songs in English) of old mixtapes: "The Last", "Agustd" "Give it to me"... *Jhope (Rapper/dance leader Jung Hoseok) "More", "Arson", boys meet evel, Daydream, the song with JCole (these are new and old songs) *Jin (Vocalist/Kim Seokjin)"astronaut", "Yours", "Epiphany", "Aweke", "Abyss".... *Park Jimin (Vocalist/ Jimin / dance line) "Set me free pt 2", "like Crazy", "lie", "serendipity", "promise", "filter"... *V (Vocalist/ Kim Taehyung)""Singularity" "Sweet Night", "Winter Bear" .... *Jeon Jungkook (Vocalista / Jungkook/ Jk / Vocal line leader / dancer) "Dreamers", "Still with You", "My time" "Euphoria"...... There are so many songs that I forget hehehe.

Hi Todd. We BTS ARMY generally enjoy long reactions and when people give their best to do a break down and analysis of how they understood the song. The joy of BTS songs is how well they can be interpreted in different ways depending on the listener and their state of mind that day. Futhermore, I personally encourage reactors to make break whenever it seems fit for them - that way they won't speak on top of the video either. If it's their first time reacting, they wouldn't necessarily know when there is a good time to pause. Maybe frasing it how they can improve reactions rather than bringing negativity would be more fruitful. Have a good day.
