So much talent in that family. The only sibling that didn't sing was their sister Leslie. Their brother Andy Gibb was hugely popular in late 70's - early 80's. He died when he was only 30 years old. I was devastated. It nearly broke Barry. He and Andy were very close.

Even though she was not a part of the group, Lesley, their sister, is the first born. She was 76, back in January, 2021. She lives a quiet life with her family. She is the 'Queen Bee." 😁

I LOVE watching someone being introduced to my favorite group. The Bee Gees were amazing song writers and their harmonies are unmatched. You are so going to love exploring their catalog which ranges from the 60s to early 2000s. And Barry had his first (I think it was his 1st) solo album just a couple of years ago. I grew up with their music in 70s

They started out while living in Australia when the twins(Robin, left and Maurice, right) were like 6 years old. They wrote so many songs together. Listen to the entire concert "One Night Only". They are amazing

Although they lived in Australia they were not born there As usual when They came back to the UK That's when they really took off They are actually classed as British musicians

The general public didn't realize how incredibly talented the Bee Gee's were because much of the industry downplayed disco music for many decades. Now, what do you think about them? I grew up in the 70's loving the Bee Gee's because I grew up in a family of musicians and singers knowing just how difficult it is to sing at this level. Their harmonies are incredible and I have yet to hear anyone or group with their level of ability. Sadly, Barry is the only Bee Gee to still be alive. I play their music almost daily. They are incredible.

I'm 65 years old, and I disagree. Their song, "How Deep is Your Live," was number one in America for 30 weeks, and then after that they had five more number one songs. They were epic. America loved them. Everyone knew The Bee Gees. The narrative they weren't popular, or well known, is just false.

I can still remember when this was out in 1979. I was 15 years old, sitting on the living room floor and watching the BeeGees perform this on TV. I was crying. I mean tears running down my face. Daddy6 told me to knock it off or he would change the station. That was just mean.

The Brothers Gibb ...... Professionally known as 'The Bee Gees.' I was married a year before this song was released. The song would had been our wedding song, even if hubby said no. (1) Maurice (on the right-short hair ) While on his way to surgery for his intestines, he had a heart attack, yet the doctors operated anyway. (I heard Barry say this on a video.) He was in the hospital for only 2 days! Maurice (pronounced Morris) passed in 2003. I feel he should had been the lead on at least one song on every album. Beautiful voice. (2) Robin (on the left-long hair) passed in 2012 from cancer. He and Barry complimented each other with their voices. To me, he was the comedian of the group. Robin and Maurice were fraternal twins. (3) Andy, (not pictured) the youngest brother had his own successful career. He passed in 1988, at the age of 30, from inflammation of the muscles around his heart. He and Barry could had passed as twins, even though he was 12 yrs younger than Barry. The 3 brothers were also married and had children. (4) Barry (in the middle) said, "I am the last man standing." Barry is the eldest of the brothers. On September 1, 2021, he and his wife, Linda will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary, which is also Barry's 75th birthday. They have 5 adult children, and 7 grandchildren. The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide (probably more by now.) They were also writers for other musical artists. On a side note, their sister, Lesley is the first born. She was 76, January, 2021. She lives a quiet life with her family. Thing is,they were brothers(the 2 shorter ones twins)and not one looked alike.There was also another brother who died young

Yeah, it is Sir Barry Gibb ,.of the four brothers the only one still alive, magnificent voices ,just imposible to compare whit anyone today, too much soul, feeling and pasion in the letters of their songs

Robin and Maurice never got the respect they deserved. Barry was beyond fantastic
