if 1.5L, might as well go for the civic with better features......yeah the 2.0 is just super complete with the necessity features, but the price tho is just ouchhh.....but then again, 5 years free service on the mazda! aaaaaa pening nak pilih...

me too man.. I'm having a dilemma on whether should i buy a civic or a mazda 3.. The only reason holding me back from getting a mazda 3 is bcoz of the price tag! So unjustified.. Not sure if i should just wait for mazda to release the next gen or when malaysia has its own ckd soon..

​@@iammrgeekboy doubt we'd get a CKD since the market prefers SUV's, either way man 5 years warranty and 5 years free service /100k km whichever comes first is a solid argument. I mean, it literally will cost you nothing to maintain the car aside from things like wipers, brake pads and tyres. I'm seriously considering it too. It's definitely not as powerful as turbo torque, but do bear in mind that Mazda shows their HP and torque at the wheel, 162 and 230 respectively. Whereas most manufactures show it from the engine which is inaccurate, technically speaking at the wheel, the civic tc and mazda 3 output are very similar, it's more on how the power is delivered. I'd take the Mazda 3 and enjoy 5 years of worry free ownership 10/10 times. My 2 cents and trust me, I've been considering this since 2019 when this thing launched haha. Good luck with your decision man, follow your bank account and then your heart and your mind will thank you!

CX-5 is assembled in Malaysia (due to high demands for Mazda SUV models frm Msian buyers), whereas the Mazda 3 sedans are fully imported from Japan. So, definitely the CX-5 is worth buying. Mazda sedans might be targeted for sedan enthusiasts who don't care about spending loads of money on fully-imported sedans to look different than Honda, Nissan & Toyota sedan drivers lol

It's all depending on your own preference. Sedan & hatchback very different from SUV. I love sedans over SUV and I enjoy lower car because in highspeed and cornering, it feels so much better and safer with a Sedan. CX5 reliable cause of the constant flooding and road condition in Malaysia but too high up and don't feel safe going highspeed. So very depending on what you need in a car. Both equally nice cars.

Bcz ni import, Mazda nak lower the pricing pun xbole sbb Gov Tax tinggi.. so terpaksa ikut. Prev Mazda 3 made in MY tu murah . Civic / Corrola tu MY assemble.
