the projectile may be copper plated, but havent heard of a casing copper plated.

If it's PMC BRONZE then it's just the branding.. cases are made of brass.
These cases can be reused or just throw it away ??
What about Tula zinc plated steel case is that decent ammunition

some were made out of copper in the 19th century, because the gunpowder they used back then was lower preassure
What about nickel plated steel?
