That place is still pot marked like the surface of the moon from the bombardment it's incredible to see the cliffs those rangers climbed and fought their way up,apparently the guns were found in a field eventually and were destroyed

The month of June 80 years ago, Young boys were laying their lives down so that people today the month of June is dedicated to a month of useless weirdos one day and that isn’t even recognize very well in this country one day in the month of June, where they happened to mention D-Day any Americans take pride in the month of June how sick we become you sometimes think that these boys were shot like in the movies literally to pieces some parts never be found. What about the wound the main we can’t give them one day we gotta give the whole month for the queers, what are we come to the leaders of the Democratic Party? I am for pride month you gotta be proud that you’re gonna have a drag dance in a third grade classroom in the month of June 80 years ago thousands of young boys and women were dying so that you could celebratepride month, but let’s only give them one day and also take our flag of America down and fly the clowns flag man. Where is this country going? God save this country.

This is a weird model as it has the full front slide serrations and is optics ready, but still has the hinged trigger. I can't find that config in their current catalog. 🤷‍♂️

I have it in the 3.6 barrel, w/2 15rd mags & 2 sleeves for the 17 rd mags.. The 5, 4, 3.6 inch barrels and hinged triggers are when they first came out models. About a year ago I tried to help a friend buy one since he liked mine, but, at first we could only find the newer models that only came with 12 rd mags. However, if memory serves me correctly it did have the newer trigger like the M&P Shield Plus. I was able to locate the earlier (as shown in video) 4in barrel 2.0 model and the prices have gone up about $175 or more than when they first came out.

Remington needs better QC on its Thunderbolt line. I have more failures to fire with that ammo than any other .22 on the market.

That is not where you are supposed to position it. It should be behind and to the side of the muzzle. RTFM, it just read what the unit tells you.

    1. Japanese army wanted a machine gun but didn't want to pay loyalty for the belt feeding mechanism. They were used to Hotchikiss style metal slabs but they wanted something lighter and actually went on asking for something that is cheap and not heavy. Nambu Kijiro came up with the design, matching the requirements of the army. 2. But this gun was a piece of shit when it came out really. Using stripper clips meant a more sophiscated feeding system and the design and shitty industrial capacity of the Imperal Japan created a great combo of having to put a device that drop some lube for the ammo to feed smoothly from an open hopper with 99% chance of letting dust sit on cartridges. This caused a lot of jams and malfunctions when the gun was put into an actual combat use in China. Also just normal infantry cartridges caused a lot of malfunctions with the case extraction not only in type 11 but also type 96. As a result, many Japanese soldiers loved to use captured ZB-26 from the KMT soldiers, calling them "a machine gun that never fucks up". This led to the development of similar machine guns type 96/99 which were quite decent.

Apparently, us old guys prefer the .45. All the youngsters want a 10mm. If there's going to be a suppressor involved, the .45 makes more sense. Full power rounds that are already subsonic. 10mm subsonic will be required to see the full benefits of a can. One of the reasons that make the 10mm so effective is its speed. Remember: mass x velocity = impact. By the time you slow down a 10mm, it's practically the same as a .45. IMHO

I wish we could legally have suppressors in ILLinois. It certainly help with hearing more clearly. As is, earplugs and such block out background sound, including conversations and range officer commands. That's just not safe.

In the 70's and 80's, Remington rimfire ammunition was great. Accurate in almost any firearm, and virtually no misfires or failures to fire. Now you couldn't pay me to use it. Better off getting a slingshot.

The hopper design might seem like lunacy, but if you think about it, is does have some merit to it. Japanese logistics were never very good, so an LMG that uses same ammo as the regular riflemen makes sense. Also you can't lose a magazine that's attached to the gun permanently. The problems with loading speed, reliability and the fact that if the hopper was damaged, the gun was useless, probably are pretty good counterpoints though

I have a Winchester model 70 rmef edition in 300 win mag and I love the guns. It’s my second Winchester. The first being a model 88 Winchester in 308 that still gets used for deer hunting but the 300 is now my new mountain deer gun along with my bear gun. I love both of them and the model 70 is my favorite because when I go to eject a shell I know that shell will eject and be ready to load another one when it goes forward
