Ғылым және технология
This time we are visiting another cartridge plant which makes military-grade ammunition with steel cases and the whole range of civilian cartridges for pistols, rifles and carbines. We are going to see the cartridge creation process, the plant's testing facility, we'll do the testing together and learn a bit of history! You are welcome to join us on our journey!

Impressive! Keep up!
Always liked Barnaul made ammo, it performed great for me in both AK and AR rifles.

"Its been a great busy day here at Barnaul today" Yeah but the CLOCK on the building "before you entered" and "after you left" only shows a 6 minute difference.
Does not show how the case is made.

10:20 how do you know the barrel leght is optimal for this 5,45x39..? And maybe the barrel is worn out. Or maybe the powder weight differs from load to load. And this bullet have very complex aerodynamics. And for accurycy the bullet may ned go thrue a sizer and a heat process that can guarantee the shape. As i found out, the shape even if differs 0,05 will have a big impact on accurycy.
I love 5.45×39 best round in the world and best gun is AK 12🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀❤😍Love Russia and Russian weapons

Strange way to type 7.92×57
I bought some Russian made .30 carbine ammo. Wolf. The case is over size and fails to load. The round can be loaded by forcing the bolt. But after firing the case has to be removed with a ramrod. Might as well shoot my muzzle loader, it's faster.

Why russia hasn't changed to 7mm catridge? 762 has bad ballistics. 7mm has the punch of 762 and the ballistics of 6mm, without burn the barrel so much.

I believe they tried 6x49mm unified catridge just before soviet collapse but they didnt continue after that. For Russia to change from their 7.62x54r to newer version now is hard due to US itself still using 5.56 and 7.62 with still hard time change to their newer catridge. So even 10 years from now we still seen 5.45, 5.56, 7.62x39, 7.62x54r, 7.62x51mm as common catridge in the future rather than newer catridge

I would say that burning the barrel is no problem with 7.62. It mainly depends on the twist rate and the speed of the bullet if it comes to the life expectancy of a barrel. I mean the barrel of a weapon chambered in 7,62x39 for example survives a whole lot of bullets without loosing accuracy, even a in 7.62x54R you can fire thousands of shots without loosing accuracy (atleast if you are not a high end hardcore shooter who notice a spread of like 3-4mm or so). A barell from a gun in 6.5 creedmore for example "only" survies 1500-4000 shots. 8x57IS barrels survive arround 10.000 shots till you notice the wear of the barrel. So i don't really see the problem, the size of the bullet doesn't say anything about the lifespan of the barrel, there are allot of factors wich goes into this.

@@kuessebrama the size and the calibre matters alot, it is not the same the pressure at some temp, that diferrent pressure at same temp. 7mm can long last a lot, but also depends the powder. 7mm it is wonderful, doesn't burn the barrel so much, and has the punch of 762 and ballistics of 6.5. The other thing that i dont get, why everyone use a neck in 45 degress and straight case.

NEED A 6.5MM GRENDEL THE BULLET NEED TO Travel AT 2900FPS TO 3000FPS A HOLLOW CAVITY LIKE THE 7N1 WITH A TUNGSTEN STEEL CORE BOAT TRAIL AND USE A MAGNUM PRIMERS FOR ALL WHETHER BURN
No civil ammo export from Russia anymore. Russian military grade ammo is often loosing to Chinese Norinco one, due to its price....
Steel case >>>> Brass case

What’s the pros and cons of steel case ammo ? And brass case ?
Nice Russia
