I just want to say THANK YOU !! For bringing my “WANT,My Need, Dreams about hunting everyday and night 24/7. This is all I can think about. Being sick , and wanting to go hunting, has my struggles but I am trying to get back out in the woods. I turn 50 in November. I’ve been hunting since I was around 7 ,my dad use to take me in the stand with a sleeping bag until it got light out . I’ll never forget the first time I saw a deer with antlers . Thank You to all The Hunting Public for bringing this back to me and getting my mind off being sick Thank you, Kurt

They like those bowls since any wind that comes into it & it circulates & they can pickup the scent from 360* around. They don't live that long by accident.

Warb has a way of taking my scattered thoughts and putting them into simple phrases that I can use in my own hunting and scouting. It’s not so much of an “ah-ha!” moment as it is just a “duh” moment, but it brings complicated ideas into an easy to follow line of thought. When he talks, I listen

It's been eating at me and I feel like iv got to say something and to make sure he gets his lower ball joints checked closely and only replace with Toyota lower ball joints if bad. The entire front corner will collapse and leave you stranded if it brakes otherwise those trucks will go forever. Keep up the awesome content. 👌

So once you find the bedding location and are able to retrieve images of the deer your targeting. Is it best to setup on top of the bedding area or find the corridor in/out of the bedding area.... or neither.. I guess it depends on time of season/ food availability/etc?

Question: last season I found a long line of rubs along a shallow creek bank with steep embankments. The area is mostly flat. Approximately 200 yards NNE of the creek is a gradual hill with some really nice thick cover just to the west coming down that hill but I also found what I call an island with some thick cover on it as well. Its basically a small mound 20 to 25 yards across. I believe heavy hunting pressure South of this area pushes the bucks to this location. Private land to the west and North. A county rd separates public from private north and west. I found 1 bed on that rub line that's moves south to north and its next to that creek with a down tree right on the bank. My question is how would you hunt this area without being busted?

Young bucks and doe groups usually bed closer to the main food source especially early and late season. The older bucks bed farther back in from the doe groups... They sometimes bed 1/3 from the top of a ridge or just a good place where they can get a good wind direction and able to see on coming danger. That's at least what I've noticed while out hunting and scouting. Hopefully others will give you knowledge of what they have noticed.

Use Permethrin, but only spray on your boots and clothing, including socks. Hang clothing and spray ahead of time to let completely dry because it’s not for your skin.
