One of my friends had a group of people come thru with a dog. He figured it was game over. A few minutes later, the biggest buck of his life walked by at 8 yards. It ain't never over. Sometimes lemons turn into lemonade.
Love these videos showing people the actual grind that is bow hunting please more scouting and observational info episodes .. yes I love the big drama episodes but these one are truly what helps me become a better hunter
Ted didn't see perhaps the rack he was looking for but he did see a rack none the less!
That's awesome you have props to Catman because I learned soooo much from his video. Changed my view of trees!
Cougars are out opening day as well.
I’ve been waiting for you guys to make this exact video
That doe at 8:50 musta had twin fawns - plenty of milk in those udders from what I could tell!
I WAS having the same problem acorns are everywhere but immon a goodern and this is not boring far from it!
8:50 A rare sighting of Odocoileus Erectus. Not sure if the rack is big enough to qualify for Pope and Young but at least Ted didn't get skunked.
I liked the bow specs. Good to see what y’all hunt with.
Nice shout out to Catman! Awesome video Aaron!
Unless you live in Florida like me, ain't too many acorns down here lol. And unfortunately where I hunt is hours away so scouting is tough. But headed out this weekend to hog hunt where I'll be deer hunting. That'll be the beginning of my scouting. This'll be my first archery season ever!!!
Ted and Ben have been putting in the time this year for sure!
Great content as always, noticed Ted turned his bow up a lil this year the added specs are a cool addition.
Pausing at the start - It is not boring. THP is one of the few that shares truly educational outdoor content that is also entertaining. HUSH is another - #2, Randy and team - #3.5ish, Shed Crazy... Just need more Muley educational stuff.

im a big fan of the elk shape guys, wish they did more whitetail and mule deer stuff though.
Banjo is always eating something on video lol. Great video guys thanks for including the scouting stuff. Acorns are everywhere here in Maryland but the whites hold the deer.
Been waiting for this one!!! Thanks THP!!!
always enjoy watching your guys videos
Ted thought for a second “maybe that girl is lost, and needs help”, naw. Looky there, a doe and a fawn. Clip
Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please:
Bout time! needed a vid from the fellas
Run outta light. Story of my life. Good vid boys
Where I live red oaks are not even a thought when scouting in October. The deer don't eat them. When I bow hunted, I looked for the white oaks, but not all white oak sets are the same. The cluster from last year that was hot, could be dropping again, but they are on another tree hard. Its deer.
If she’s lost, she’s got a lot of storage to survive off of!
Dang, didn't expect to see that heifer go by.
Good looking spot with all those acorns.
Good work men!!
All kinds of acorns and beech nuts up in Vermont this year
I hunt very northern Minnesota… 80 acres private bordered by 1,000-2,000 public with limited access…. But I don’t think there’s a single damn oak tree for miles lol… pretty much just pine and poplar. No idea what to key in on for feed in these big woods
@8:50. IS THAT A SASQUATCH! 🤪
YES! You guys are awesome!
FINALLY!!!!!! You boys have had me waiting to long for a new episode can’t wait to watch !!
Thanks from rookies in Iowa 💯💪🏽
Can’t wait for the next video fellas, looks like you all are getting into the middle of ‘em!
lovin the content from au fellas!
Loving it boys
You guys have taken a little heat for not taking one down yet lol. I'm always watching because it's REAL, and your content and format always makes me feel like I was there on the hunt with you.
Looking good guys man I Hope you get a shot wish me luck in the morning guys!!!
New to bow hunting. Does it hurt to scout during the season? What if you bump deer?
I'm happy now!
Mark that “garden tiller” tree. Then next spring come in with a #50 bag of 8-8-8 and put out on the drip edge and get ready to kill!
THP is the most UNDERRATED KZread hunting channel out there. They make amazing videos and provide a lot of information. The fact that they only have 400k subs baffles me.

They all met while working for midwest whitetail but they left there and wanted to do there own thing without having to push products down our throats constantly.they use what they like now.they have sponsorship but it is nowhere near as much as other shows and channels that are nonstop adds.plus the interns get to learn and hunt and grow as videographers and hunters.it would be awesome to go out and work with THP for a season.

I had a really sweet spot to hunt that was mainly burr oaks and they produce large acorns and one year they were close to golf ball size I really miss that spot lol
You guys just filmed the elusive, wild female sasquatch, woods witch in my area!

I thought you boys picked that chick up hitch hiking. Then drove her about a mile through woods in the wrong direction and booted her out. Went back to your set up and about an hour later there she was. Worked like a charm.

same thing happened to me the other morning from the ground lol
I’ve never seen this many acorns in one October. Sure have to be mobile for awhile
Not boring at all!!! 1:50
I tried a new spot today I have only been to one other time. I made sone marks on the map on my phone a certain app that I use that I will be deleting after today. It starts with an H and ends with an E and it kept closing the screen out on me and did t know which was I was facing I was in this spot and set up a mock scrape over a month ago it's between primary food and bedding on a North facing hill side good for a south wind. I decided this morning was the morning to go. Well the app did t know my direction and I placed my faith into it to much, never rely on technology. It spun me around in a big ass circle so I knew something was off. It's pretty thick in there too so being quiet is tough. But I pulled my compass out only to find that the pointer on the phone app was facing west ending me directly to the scrape source and my compass was actually pointing west so I was actually going then opposite way in which the app was reading me. So I left the woods today completely defeating because I didnt do a.very good scouting before hand and I related in the app to take me right where I needed to be. In pitch black we all know how distraut you can get when all you see is 8feet in front ifnyou and bit all looks the same lol. I'll be downloading onx and trying that now and taking more mental notes. I should of stuck to my regular area that I know. But new spots are always exciting. Lost 2 arrows frommy quiver today too didn't even realize it. I'm not professional but I usually know myway around the woods lol today was not that day
Why are there no ads?
What a sweet lady ,,she’s over in the swamp chasing Ted some deers
Squach running around in Dem woods.
Why did Zach move to Colorado?
Ready for some bucks to get hunted now that Iowa is open. Knock e'm down boys.
First cycler boys! Send it!
I love your breakdown I hated how my ole man said it's the same every year it is to a point
Now will deer tend to eat a certain acorn before others? I’ve been sitting on which I assume is red oak. Acorns dropping all over, but noticed there is also a ton left over from last year. I’ve got a camera out there and I do get traffic but I am not sure they’re feeding on them as much as I anticipated
@d2eoutdoors

The smaller acorns the less acidic. Usually Pin oaks, white oaks,red oak ,and chestnut oak. In my area it’s in that order
@devinglasgow7300
2 жыл бұрын
They do. White oaks are the holy grail of acorns. Next would have to be red oak, find an area with both species dropping and your getting warmer. Just bc the area “looks good” doesn’t mean it is. Find the sign, I prefer to hunt the travel corridors vs food sources. Oaks flats can be massive and good luck finding the one special tree without flooding the area with your scent. Find the bedding areas and get between it and the food, obviously only hunt when the wind allows ALSO pay special attention to your entry/exit to your stand. PS. What most people call a “pin oak” is actually water oaks. They are the first to drop and will continue through several months. Once the whites and reds start you can forget about the water oaks.

So I’m asking for some help from you guys. I am bow hunting on 40 acres in Michigan (private) and I had 3 shooters and 4 smaller 8s and some smaller bucks on trail cam coming and going from cedars across the creek should I put a stand on the trail where I caught them or what? And should I just wait for the cold front?
@usa-rb5fi
2 жыл бұрын
Last year where I bow hunted I found a good trail and put my climber near it, it worked until they figured it out, doe’s started busting me all the time, and by November changed trails on me, so I had to adjust. Try the trail, but make sure you’re high enough to not get busted, use the element of surprise, but be prepared to make adjustments later.
