I was just thinking when I seen the title of this video. I’ve learned it in the past few years is the best scrap week is the first week of bow season. I haven’t watched the whole video but I had a feeling Dan was going to say early season. I think John is going to talk rut. It reminds me of Major League Fishing all of them are damn good but have different styles.
I literally found an area last season that is way overlooked.....! I blew it last season on a beautiful Buck and wouldn't ya know he is still alive per trail cam photos.! This is a spot on informative video. I cannot wait to post a picture of a beautiful Buck I get hunting just like they spoke of.....! With my Beast Gear....! Thanks a bunch guys.!
Noticed a spot that has had the same scrape for the last 3 years right off the road always walked past it but decided to try it opening weekend and first sit that morning got a good 8! Was right after the rain that night.
What about a scrape right outside a swamp with cattails
Excellent, Excellent information from two legends.
🏕Interior Woodland scrapes are always going to be more productive...Dan makes a great point regarding two bucks 🦌using using the same scrape...they use the same bedding area because they were more than likely in the same bachelor group....they tolerate being in close proximity to one another in early season but that will change once the last week of October. I've found scrapes to be the most active the third week of October....and all day long...yes all day long. When the pre rut launches & begins you have a short window of opportunity...especially in ag areas where bucks are traveling from woodlot to woodlot...also once you've moved beyond Nov 20th bucks will keep their home base scapes worked as a dog marking his territory...so scrapes are very good to hunt but you better know how a target buck is using and traveling that landscape. I suspect many hunts are ruined because most hunters will educate a buck without realizing they've buggered it up...stealthy scouting approach always And By Yourself will pay huge dividends during the season 🎯🏹🦌😁👍
Very timely info! Looking forward to getting on some early season scrapes
Yes great info there!
Funny how they both brought up after rain
The two top dogs- nice!
This should be good.2 of the best..
I’m in Oxford AL and the bucks don’t start scraping on our property until Dec 20th, over 60 days after the bow opener. By then the acorn crop is gone….I stick to the scrapes near planned food sources.

Dude sounds like Andre D'aquisto

Dans the goat
Time wasting sits😂😂 if you don't enjoy all the hours waiting to launch a bolt or arrow 🤣🤣 I'ma part time bird watcher 🤣 I just chopped up my second bow buck it was a 7 it was a third of the size the bucks I missed last year!! I have high hopes for the rut!!! Kill mode🤣🤣 good one!!
