this cinematic was the final one they showed before shutting down the original version of the game, and is the first part of the opening cinematic for ARR. it's super weird to be 30-35 levels into ARR and not know what this is.

I watched that trailer at least 30 times and just now did I realise that the beginning shows Limsa, Ul'dah, and Gridania before the battlefield...

I've been coming back to watch the "end of an era" trailer and reactions tons of times, since 2015. I've never noticed all 3 Main cities being shown either. Only Limsa Lominsa

@@DaphCookie His name is "Meteor" if you're curious. Most of us long time players just call him "Derplander", however :P

You guys should've watched Flames of Truth. That one had more to the end of this one. It showed Louisoix's battle with Bahamut and how he actually died.
