Really? Did you play the game?…everyone uses sidewinder all the time. It builds pressure the best for him, it’s one of his best moves lol

What makes the slashes continue on their own ? Is it holding square in vengeance mode

If you're in vengeance mode and dodge out of the held square button attack the slash continues iirc

You need Precision Defense Focus materia lvl3, you can block grab attacks like : Bahamut, Titan or Gilgamesh

Level 3 of Precision Dodge lets you perfect block bind attacks, which Gilgamesh Pose counts as. He dodged every other unblockable attack.
