12 year old me was just like 😮😮😮 lol my first FF ending boss right there and from what I remember….I struggled lol would die in the Griever fight 10 times just to get to where they merge and die 10 more times and have to start over from the beginning lol

Ff16 ultimania fight was enjoyable, and the music when the final boss goes into limit break is so nice. Don’t know why they don’t play the music full time, perfect for this fight. But all boss fights I played so far on final fantasy were enjoyable.

Then you have yet to face FFV’s omniscient…or FFXII’s Yiazmat (solely because of how long it takes even at max lvl) and if we sticking to main story bosses I’ll throw out FFX: any boss that uses “banish” bye bye summons, the notorious Evrae, and the more notoriously annoying Seymour Flux atop the stupid snow mountain…which of course uses banish…and annihilation is bs if you are under leveled which you probably are.

endsinger(EW) shinryu(SB) hades(SHB) thordan(HW). gaius(ARR) can be count as its final boss from its every each expansions from the ff14. so that can be huge list on it not mentioned every boss from post story after main campaign of each expansion. that will be nidhogg (HW) tsukuyomi (SB) Elidibus(SHB) i havent reach this part on EW haha

But Heavensward storyline ended at 3.3 with Nidhogg and shadowbringers storyline for sure ended at 5.5 with Elidibus. And Endwalker ends at the end of the main expansion 6.0

FF8 by far had the most cinematic and artistically enjoyable final boss, as well as having the most songs for every phase, followed by 7 6 16 and 9

I clicked because I was curious which boss they would pick for the MMOs, there are multiple options that could work. I'm pretty disappointed they were just outright skipped

I love how you can find all these videos on youtube with titles that say every Final Fantasy, but when you start watching, they almost immediately say they will not be talking about XI or XIV.

Chaos in Dissidia FF is the best and the greatest legendary battle ever for me. It’s like fighting Mundus from the original DMC1.

Ultima, Sephiroth and Ardyn are the 3 best FF villains imo

Damn I don't know why FF11 and FF14 were skipped, even though their MMO's their still mainline entries in the series that have earned their place especially 14. In terms of those though I really do think Endsinger in FF14 may be some of my favorite bosses in FF not to mention how amazing the music is for it. Very disappointed they were just skipped

I'm not going say anything about ff11 cause I haven't played it. But ff14 the story is still continuing so there's really no final boss fight. Although Endwalker is the story conclusion for hydaelyn and zodiark it really isn't the final story for ff14

So for FFXI, the Final BossES would be; The Shadowlord (base), Eald'narche (Rise of the Zilart), Promathia (Chains of Promathia), Alexander/Raubahn (Treasure of Aht Urhgan), Lilith (Wings of the Goddess), Hades (Seekers of Adoulin), and then you could also count Shinryu (Abyssea) & Cloud of Darkness (Rhapsodies of Vana'diel) ... And for FFXIV, Nael van Darnus (1.0, no longer able to fight), Ultima Weapon/Lahabrea (A Realm Reborn), King Thordan/His Knights Twelve (Heavensward), Shinryu (Stormblood), Hades (Shadowbringers), The Endsinger (Endwalker), ??? I also personally think it shouldn't exist and they should've just made a 14-2, or a new MMO all together, but once an MMO reaches a certain size the company won't ever just end it. Even though they really, REALLY should have after Endwalker.

Safer Sephiroth (THE FIRST TIME) absolutely destroyed me and suprised me, having to beat jenova synthesis then bizarro EVERY time prior made it a huge pain in the ass for under-leveled and ill prepared kids! EPIC memorable fight. Ultimecia was similarly more of a pain in the ass right after Griever. Jecht was cool, not hard and nobody considers yu yevon the final boss just like shirtless seph doesn’t count. Ardyn was pretty epic looking, not too hard though…just a dbz fight lol. Kefka is super sick and challening plus i hate fckin clowns. Vayne…or the undying was kinda cool but didnt feel like a final boss and easy peasy, chaos was probably the most annoying to take out and cool looking…all in all the best most memorable to me is Sephiroth cuz its…sephiroth idk. Also im gonna throw in 14’s Nidhogg, not that hard but pretty epic for an MMO

I found Sephirot to be super easy. However, even though the strategy I used was pretty basic (just haste and regen everyone while also slowing Sephirot), I guess it's likely I wouldn't have used it if I had played the game as a child. And indeed, when I went back to do the fight again without any strategy, it was rather difficult (still not THAT much, though)

I've noticed a lot of FFs was missed: FF I and II remasters (not Pixel), FF III and IV remakes, The After Years, whole Crystal Chronicles series (except the first CC), FF XI, Revenant Wings, Dissidia 012 and Opera Omnia, Mobius, Dimensions (both), FF XIV, SoP of course. I'm sure that some FFs in my list still missed

Stranger of paradise is too underestimated and it's a shame because it is very interesting.

FF4 After Years has one hell of a hard boss for you to go through to get to him: Bahamut and the Mysterious Girl. The latter opens with Meteor and will also remove your buffs (including Reflect) immediately before Bahamut nukes your party with Megaflare. Unless you're at a high level (60+), good luck surviving that shit.

Orphan in XIII was the hardest by far, a final boss never beat my ass so hard in a final fantasy series but just because RNG he can literally one shot you any time in the fight, also sepiroth in original VII was the easiest followed by ultima in 16 that is an amazing fight but with almost no challenge

The true boss of crisis core is the non existent plot armor. I mean zack survived summons, a literal reaper, sephiroth (well thanks to hojo), genesis, and angeal and if you consider the extra side quests the goddess. Dude's skin is tougher than anything the lifestream has ever seen.

Another day, another instance of FF14 getting shafted in every one of these compilations. Ultima, King Thordan, Shinryu, Hades, Endsinger, so many badass instances that should be here.

Having only played 6,7,8,9,10,12,15,16,crisis core,dirge of cerberus, remake and rebirth I can't give an opinion on the games that aren't mainstream,the online games or 13 and it's sequel's as 13 was boring and filled with way too many cutscenes but remakes final boss along with the OG FF7 and Clive's fight with Ultima were the best

@@someguy1073 On a thematic level, it's much more compelling for Ardyn to remain human and for him and Noct to continue fighting until they can barely stand. Ardyn might be a sick, sad excuse for a human being, but his evil is nothing more and nothing less than human spite.

I don't see FFXI, FFXIV, Dissidia: Duodecim, FFTA2, a TON of the Crystal Chronicles games, etc etc. So I wouldn't say "EVERY" Final Boss :P Also, the final boss of FF7 technically shows the wrong Sephiroth.

I would've agreed but honestly did not care for ultima at all I think he was a boring villain, but gameplay wise I can see (though bahamut fight was better than Ultimas in FF16). I liked sephiroth and ardyn the best mainly because the villians were really good so I felt more engaged in those fights.
